[Glub glub glub, hey, another tr- Kanaya? Kanaya! The last time this fishy princess saw you was when you spoke to her and Sollux on the horn pile! Feferi moves quickly over to Kanaya, getting into the fountain with her without a second thought, even if Kanaya ends up getting out herself.]

"Kanaya! Wow! When did you swim into Vatheon?"

I have no particular preferred posting style... so I think I'll just mimic what others do. :)

[Kanaya has indeed been climbing out of the fountain, but she's willing to sit on the edge and chat.]

"I do not remember swimming here, or coming here at all. I last remember speaking to Karkat... then I regained consciousness in this decorative water fountain. Do you know where we are?"

Works for me.

"Yes! We're in Vatheon! Some underwater city that brought us here for an otterhwhales mysterious reason!" [She grins, sitting happily in the fountain water. Tact? What's that even? She's a friggen Empress to be.]

"I think...all of us are here now! Wow! I'm sure sure though, hmmm...maybe all of us are..."

"I hadn't realized it was possible to have cities underwater... At least not that anyone could live in. What do you mean that the city brought us here?"

[Kanaya hasn't forgotten her Jade!universe theory. If she knew much more about the outer ring entities she might be far more suspicious of Feferi's enthusiasm... but then she is a snooty prospit dreamer, and doesn't know much about them besides "dark might be bad."

It's only been a few minutes for Kanaya since she last heard the nautical puns, but some of them still throw her off. Was the combination of otterwhales necessary? For Feferi it probably was. Still, with the initial enthusiasm, her trailing off was worrisome.]

"All twelve of us are here then? Or do you have reason to believe that this has recently changed?"

"Oh, well, the city! Or perchhaps the coral. Someone was carping aboat how the coral brings us here. I don't exactly know why though. Hmmm... But it is reely pretty! And you feel better when you touch it. The whole thing DOES smell a little fishy though." [Feferi is pretty oblivious to her fishy puns right now. It actually took effort not to say them, which she didn't do very much, really only for serious fishness, I mean business, see what I mean?]

"No I just haven't actually seen everyone yet! But it's implied that everyone is here. Hmmm, let me sea, Vriska, Crabcatch, Tavros, Teresea, Nepeta, Sollux, Eridan, yooouuu, Feferi, heehee, Equius, Gamsea, and whale, I don't think I've seen Aradi! So maybe we're not all here yet? Oh! And Jade, is here, along with the other humans, and some of their lusi."

crap I couldn't figure out how to edit it I hope that's not a problem D:

"Then we do not know how we came to be here? That is worrisome. Even if it is evidently beneficial to our health while we are here."

[Hmm, yes, the mutual aid of them touching the coral for energy, and the coral being protected by their presence... that sounds nothing like tanglebuddies at all. But for now the situation is merely inexplicable and strange. Maybe others than Feferi will know more. Or maybe she'll encounter a helpful manual somewhere~]

"One of the first people---a human---that I spoke to said that we were all here. He mentioned Aradia, describing her as 'cheery,' and said she had wings."

[This is the second conversation Kanaya has raised this point in! But it continues to dumbfound her, as attaining godtier meant either that Aradia had been alive during the game, or that the game's mechanics were somehow still in effect. She wanted to know which it was

It's a pencil icon in the blue bar where the title goes. But otherwise, not a problem!

"I conch say I know anyfin about Aradia and her wings, as said, I haven't waded across her yet, heh. But if she IS here then that makes all of us! And yep! Four humans and some of their sprites too! I met a strange sprited jade, and I think Dave's sprite is here as whale!" [Feferi takes note of the blushing, it was after mentioning the humans, right? Hmm, wonder which human? Heehee.]

"I'm shore you'll come across some of them! Everyone is PRETTY active, heehee, soooo much glubbing drama. It's actually kind of annoying." [And really really frustrating, ugh....UGH.]

It turns out that only paid accounts have that option available :D

[There is no blush here what are you talking about that is foolishness stop it.]

"I suppose, after all the time we spent near each other in the game and the lab, everyone didn't want to be in close proximity...? If you have not yet seen us all then we must have spread our hives through the bubble. And everyone is managing to have drama nonetheless?"

[Kanaya is a little amused, if exasperated, to hear this.]

I have learned something today~

"Glub, yes, just quadrant drama though! Stuff that shouldn't really matter yet, buuuut, everyone still manages to be a part of it! Whale, not EVERYONE, but a good amount of them, heh. I'm pretty far out of that quadrant stuff now, so I just wade around and talk to people when I can!" [She smiles widely, standing up now and stepping out of the fountain, letting herself drip dry.]

"We are all pretty spread out though, some of us are in my apartment building, and otters are else where, hmm, I don't know! I kind of just go with the flow!"

I presume the same usual few are in the heart of it, but who else has been dragged in?

[Kanaya nods in appreciation of the idea. It would be nice to remain out of the quadrant drama. As she had been saying to Jade a short time ago, from her perspective at least, she seemed unable to stay uninvolved when the reckless sorts started problems.]

I am beginning to think that that's the most sensible path of action. To help where we can, and remain out of the way when there is nothing we can do.

"I think you're right! Besides, there's a lot of otter things to do here, and a lot of people to meet from so many new places! It's pretty exciting! Oh! And dinosaurs attacked, or at least that's what people were calling them. They were really big scale beasts." [She had been making a lot of new friends after all...all humans actually too! It was pretty nice. Hopefully she'd make more soon, and same goes for Kanaya. The drama was just not worth it.]

"Well what has anyone told you about this place? I don't know too much yet, but I can help!"

[Feferi certainly does go with the flow. Perhaps when she first arrived she was more hesitant to release those connections in favor of the new possibilities. Kanaya will probably have more difficulty attempting that.]

"I talked to two people, one of who was pretty clearly a human. One of them had known me a little when this other me was here before. Very strange and a little awkward to talk to him... But they told me that this place has all the usual necessary supplies for living. And that a wide variety of people from different universes populate it. I think I was too busy trying to understand that this is real, to really focus on the details."

Pfft, no problem.

"It takes a little whale to get used to such a big change, I GUESS. I mean, oh wait, from where in the time line were you fished out?" [That hopefully would make things a little easier to talk about. She was going to reference the destruction of Alternia, BUT is Kanaya had not gone through that then it wouldn't have really mattered...]

[This is a good point! Establishing that piece of information is a important thing to do.]

"We were all in the veil, and most of the group had wandered off... You and Sollux were in Gamzee's horn pile, talking for a while."

[Kanaya ponders for a moment, and then decides to confide a little of her fears to one of the few who she thinks would understand it.]

"Feferi, I never saw this place in my clouds. I don't know what that means for us, or the session, or any of that..."

"Well, if we're here, then we must be here for a reason right? It's better not to question it and just be happy we're all here together. I really don't want to bother with the details, to be HONEST." [She has enough DETAILS to bother with...]

[Hmm. That isn't the kind of response she was hoping for. It's still certainly relevant. Kanaya is going to smile at that sentiment.]

"I strongly suspect Gamzee would appreciate and agree with you on that. There is certainly something to the sentiment of simply accepting what happens as it does. And it seems that we are safe here, so perhaps our lives can continue in relative peace. It isn't as though we left much behind."

[Kanaya is feeling much happier having come to this realization. All twelve of the trolls are, here, and she had the matriorb with her when she was taken. They could fully make new lives here.]
