[Miroku was out once more, but not without reason. He was curious to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem. Because he was unable to access the network through the SFC he was resorted to doing it in person, which wasn't much ( Read more... )

[Sango was aware of the issue having a bubble herself, but seemed nothing could change the pure fact that she got uneasy if she had no account of what Miroku might be doing after a while. Also being without an SFC, she was left to search the streets with Kirara who was a big help with her nose.]

{Where did he get off to...?}

[Kirara apparently was on the right lead as she finally spots him. The bubble was a bit more positive in her mind in regards to him. The words she caught only made her frown, however, as she continued to approach.]

{What did he do now?}

[He didn't do anything Sango. Miroku is innocent for a change.]

Ah, Sango, did you come to see too?

[Experience sadly makes her assume otherwise by default.]

No, I was looking for you. ...See what?

It appears as though another curse is in motion. [He pointed at her thought bubble.]

I see you're no exception.

(I wonder if InuYasha, and Lady Kagome are affected.)

I noticed. So...you're just looking into it?

{This is so strange. Should I even respond to what I'm seeing?}

[He sees that, Sango.]

So to speak. I'm sure a few people are exempt of this curse.

(Monitoring thoughts can be a difficult process.)

[You have no idea what he keeps from you regarding his personal curse.]

[It's hard to remember, she's not used to it.]

But what would keep them from getting it?

[No, but she has her assumptions about what goes through his head.]

{Why am I not surprised he's doing that?}

(Random.)

Perhaps it's because it just selects its users at random.

(Planned.)

Or it merely selected all of its targets before hand and executed it accordingly.

(Lack of energy. Unintentional.)

Or on the reverse it never intended to do any of it all, and those effected were just unfortunate. As well as it doesn't bear enough energy to supply each one of us with the curse.

That's just a few of many theories though.

{This is too weird.}

...I guess any of that's possible. It doesn't change how strange the entire thing is, though.

(Unfortunately so.)

It's something we must adapt to regardless if this is where it plans to keep us.

Hopefully this isn't something that lasts for too long.

{Although it could be pretty useful... [It shoots him a glare]}

The reptiles were temporary. This probably is too.

(I can't be certain though.)

Weren't all of those creatures killed in some way, though?

{I wasn't any help at all then...}

To the contrary some are still roaming as we speak, but not within in the barrier. They reside in the ocean outside of it.

They can breathe in the water? I guess it's better than attacking everyone at least.

They also seem more domestic. I do wonder what the one after this one will be like.
