[Since the moment he found out what the bubbles broadcast, Hubert has been cooped up in "his" place of residence for paranoia that the foreigners and the locals alike might breach his privacy. On top of that, Mother's Day left him feeling a little numb. And so, it has generally been a terrible week thus far -- and quite possibly about to get worse when he finds himself without the necessary materials to stay indoors and maintain his patience. Namely, writing supplies.

He heads to the plaza, where he'll drop by a shop and begrudgingly restock up on paper and ink. A thought bubble trails behind him the whole way, though its contents are blank.

It's somewhat late, so he figures it's safer to be out now than it had been earlier. Briefly, on the way back, he wonders if he should have just tried earlier in the next morning instead before shaking his head. No point in thinking about such things, now.]
