*Selphie woke from her nap, stretching from an uncomfortable sleep on the plaza ground. She blinked, and blinked again - was that really Minato on that bench?*

*She jumps to her feet, wobbly and unstable as she trips across the plaza*

Minato!

*But as she got closer, she grew steadily more worried. Okay, so he was alive. Of course he was. Just...sleeping? So she fetches her blanket from the other side of the plaza and tucks it gently around his body, hoping not to wake him*

[Awwww Selphieee. So nice to him seriously.

The blanket is a warm weight on him, and after a few moments he realizes that there is a blanket on him. From that thought, it isn't hard to realize that he is lying down and from there that he--]

I fell asleep...?

[He blinks, opening his eyes, only to close one again as he yawns--

Selphie-chan?

Minato! You came back!

*She throws herself at him, holding onto him tightly for dear life. She's exhausted for having kept camp for him, even if only for a few days, but that she's happy to see him is an understatement*

[Thump! He is sitting up when she hugs him, and he topples back against the back of the bench. But he hugs her back with a smile.]

[She looks tired. He's concerned.]

*Selphie's clinging onto him, not likely to let go any time soon. She shuffles from where she's sitting, so that she's straddling him, looking him straight in the eye*

No I am NOT alright! You left me! And you promised!

*Uh oh! Selphie has her angry face on!*

[...o-oh dear. Um. Angry faces are never a good sign, but he just nods.]

I'm sorry. I wouldn't have left if I could have prevented it.

*Selphie's looking very close to throwing a punch, but she pauses and sits back, her face falling into a frown of concern*

Did...you die? Did someone kill you, Minato?!

[The question startles him, and he blinks. How does she know that--]

[...oh. Oh wait. His brain catches up and he realizes--either he disappeared or he died, right? That would be the logical conclusion.

...at least, he hopes that she doesn't know that he really died. So he settles for something noncommittal.]

*Minato's shock causes Selphie to just stare, leaning closer to get a good look in his eyes. Surely she didn't have another person to go hurt? But no... At least, that didn't seem the case*

*Now that she has some answers, she slips off him to sit beside him, instead of on him*

*Okay, so the annoyance and desperation she had been keeping bottled up for the past few days comes in the form of a swift, but not massively painful (hopefully) punch to his arm*
