Hello are you tired of me yet ;) also this is assuming he's...planting near their yard xD;kagayakashiMay 1 2011, 12:27:06 UTC
[ Rubbing her eyes sleepily, Gracia walked into their kitchen and got a glass of water. She yawned and as she drank, she found herself walking to the open garden. Another yawn. What a nice cool night breeze...
...She was just about to go back in when she heard something. Like -- like dirt being dug up. And well. There's a quiet sound of activity beyond the small fence that separated their house to the next. She walked outside barefoot clad in a very simple yukata; her eyes widened in surprise. ]
never. ♥. he's everywhere and anywhere~vimyridgeMay 1 2011, 12:30:28 UTC
[He dropped the trowel he was using when he heard someone talking to him. Clearly he hadn't planned on being caught in the act, let alone planned that someone else might be up. Coughing slightly, he looked a bit embarrassed as he looked up at her.]
H- hello Gracia. I didn't wake you, did I? [He conveniently 'forgot' to answer the question.]
/will bother forever.~ Canada's a ninja isn't he. A Canadian Ninja.kagayakashiMay 1 2011, 12:38:26 UTC
[ She went up closer and squinted her eyes. It was Canada, wasn't it? It was a little dark, and the only light source was dim from the distance. She leaned on the fence with her free hand, tiptoeing as well. ]
No, I woke up myself to get water. [ She raised the glass for emphasis. ] What's going on? What are you doing?
perhaps i should share the joy with others~ /...nothing~vimyridgeMay 1 2011, 12:49:29 UTC
[He still didn't seem to keen on budging from his horrible excuses and lies quite yet. Determined to the very end.] Well it's not like I don't have a flashlight...
greatest idea ever. /well, yes~vimyridgeMay 1 2011, 13:00:08 UTC
[Technically speaking, he did have one. It just wasn't on and it wasn't in sight. ...it happened to have been tucked into his bag at the moment, but he did have one since he needed it to look around for good places to plant the bulbs.]
I didn't know it was a crime to take a walk, let alone stop during one.
like the musical. joy of joys! /b-blush desu.....!kagayakashiMay 1 2011, 13:23:26 UTC
[ Gracia looked down for a minute before hastily putting the empty glass on the first step to the garden. She grabbed a pair of slippers nearby and walked out into the neighboring garden. It's not a long walk, so she came to Canada's side in less than a minute or two. ]
What are you planting? A night flower? [ She's a little concerned. There's a lot of questions needed to be answered. ]
i do like musicals...~ /spins.vimyridgeMay 1 2011, 13:32:52 UTC
[Sadly, he had seriously given thought to fleeing. And if he had been able to quickly find where he had put that stupid trowel in order to shove it into his bag and flee in time, he would have. Unfortunately, he got no further than finally finding the trowel and shoving it back in his bag.
Sighing softly, he awkwardly stood up and shrugged.] No. Just flowers. There's nothing special about them at all.
can anybody say "duet"? ~ /bring on the rose background people ♥kagayakashiMay 1 2011, 13:39:32 UTC
[ Gracia's frown returned, though it was more laced with concern than anything. He seemed...tense. And it was a strange thing to witness because all this time, Canada was always calm and chill. She stepped up closer to him, tilting her head to see his eyes. ]
I wouldn't plant flowers in the middle of the night, but I don't think it's a bad idea...
[ She gave the bag a glance. ] But Cana, why are you gardening now?
hopefully i don't bring us down. /and the music. ♥vimyridgeMay 1 2011, 13:45:24 UTC
[Biting his bottom lip, he still refused to look at anything but the ground. Wow. How interesting it was. For a brief moment he also looked as if he was going to cry, but he quickly pushed that look away.
Best course of action? Flee. And that's exactly what he was trying to do. No warning, no words, no nothing. Just him suddenly bolting off.]

N- nothing. N- not much, really, anyway. [He was quickly hiding the trowel as secretively as he could.] ...just tying my shoe is all.

S- sorry. I didn't mean to sound so harsh. [Frowning softly, he looked down.] I was planting some flower bulbs.

[ She was just about to say something else, when the rest of Canada's reply caught up to her. ]
What was that? What are you doing? [ She peered in closer to the fence. She didn't catch that last whisper... ]

Sighing softly, shrugged his shoulders slightly, still not really looking up.] Gardening.
