Characters: Riku Replica and anyone he bumps into Location: Around; starting near the fountain Time: April 18th, morning Style: Prose or Action; my main entry is in prose Status: OPEN
[Well, Ritsuka isn't the type to jump all over being sociable, but he finds it a little difficult to just walk away from someone who looks so...unhappy, for lack of a better word.
He walks up, sitting next to him. Not too close, though... some of the people here are pretty weird. It's a precaution.]
[After wandering around for awhile even Rep got tired, and especially today. He hadn't slept yet since his battle, so when the boy approached, he didn't bother to stop him.
Then you bought the illusion. [Just like he didn't.] That's what it's supposed to make people think... but it's a lie. I'm not real, so don't waste your sympathy.
Don't act like you know me! [You found a button :C sorry Ritsuka]
[He stands up and slashes his arm across his chest] You don't have any idea what it's like. [He gestures open-palmed towards the other boy] Or what I've been through. None of it.
[He won't stop Ritsuka if he still wants to leave.]
[For a minute, Rep can't even believe that this guy wants to know, but there was a thinly-veiled challenge in the guy's words.]
I was made, I was used, and then I was thrown away like one of their broken toys. They gave me someone else's name, face, abilities - nothing about me is my own.

That's okay. That's okay, Ritsuka tells himself, he's probably just...been through a lot. I bet that's understatement of the year.]
You don't need to be so rude. I was just asking; you look upset.

I think you'd be surprised.
[Maybe. But he knows what it's like to not be able to be somebody, at least.]

So how can I have faith in a phony life?
