Characters: Riku Replica and anyone he bumps into Location: Around; starting near the fountain Time: April 18th, morning Style: Prose or Action; my main entry is in prose Status: OPEN
[After seeing Zexion, Namine was curious as to who else would show up. And here he was- the Replica. The one who had protected her, believing in his false memories. Her eyes went towards the ground, and she approached him slowly.]
[It's been so long since those events in Castle Oblivion- but the memories are painfully rising to teh surface. She had broken his heart. It was her fault. She looked away, trying not to look at him.]
[A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth, then fades. Last he remembers, Naminé was sorting out Sora's memories for him. So why was she here? Unless she's not real - a hallucination after he's 'disappeared' to somewhere else sounds plausible to him.]
I honestly can't tell... if it's really you or not. You can't be in the same place I am... [He clenches his fist.] You shouldn't be in the same place I am.
[He lowers his head.] It doesn't matter for now - if you're here too, then maybe that's why I couldn't disappear back into the darkness just yet.
[The idea that he might actually have a purpose again is hard to fathom, and he can't entirely convince himself of that even now, but it's the closest thing to hope that he has.]
R-Riku?

[As he pauses mid-stride, he realizes who the voice belongs to.] Naminé? [He replies quietly; he can't turn to face her, not yet.]

[She bends down and takes his hands, slightly biting her lip as she tries to look into his eyes. Maybe she could make up for what she did.]
I'm real, see? And you're not dead, none of us are.

[He tries to avoid looking at her a bit longer, but doesn't pull away.]
I disappeared - I just don't know where to, or why you're here, because you at least... you shouldn't have disappeared too.

[She grips his hands tighter.] None of us disappeared. We're both alive- we've just been taken to another world.

[He balls his free fist] I was so certain I was going to...

Hmm? Going to what?
