[A strange man sits nearby, eating a banana. Never looking directly at Yusuke, he stops eating long enough to say]

You can't save everyone, you know. It's impossible. Believe me, I've tried.

[At this, he returns to eating his banana. His eyes seem distant, like he is recalling a painful memory.]

I-I. I know that! [It was ridiculous though. The fool just willingly accepted it.]

[The Doctor finally finishes his banana and looks over at Yusuke. He grimaces.]

You're not looking so hot yourself, kid. You might want to rest before you pick another fight against the ground.

These are nothing. [Despite how battered he looked now, he's actually been through worse.]

[The Doctor eyes Yusuke. Those wounds were definitely not "nothing". Yusuke had clearly been in some kind of fight. Digging through his pockets, the Doctor replies:] Eh? Me? Why would I want something.

[The Doctor seems to have found what he was looking for.] You, on the other hand, should take this and dry off [The Doctor throws him a small towel.] And then fix yourself up with this. [A large first aid kit (that shouldn't have been able to fit in his pocket) appears, and the Doctor throws that to Yusuke, as well.]

[The teen caught the towel and then the first aid kit. He blinked.]

Er...Okay? [...] Why are you helping me?

Oh! I don't believe I introduced myself. I'm the Doctor. Just "the Doctor", mind you. Don't go making up a surname for me.

The Doctor? [That wasn't conspicuous at all.]

That's me! [The Doctor gives Yusuke a small smile.]

So what's your name, kid?

[Now he's gonna keep an eye on you.]

Nice to meet you, Yusuke. No doubt you are wondering where you are, yes? I would imagine that this is quite a different scene than you are used to.

Not at all. I'm use to being constantly jerked into random parts of world where everyone and their mother is manipulating me. [Sadly this was actually half true despite the sarcasm.]

[The Doctor completely ignores Yusuke's tone of voice.]

Not a whole lot at the moment. There was an infestation of dinosaurs a while back, but it seems they have disappeared. Everything is pretty slow moving around here, and the locals are so tight lipped that I am not even really sure [He uses air quotes here] "what is up".

Kidding about what? The dinosaurs? I don't think even I could come up with something like that. If you walk into the city, you will note there is a sale on meat. It's been on sale since the night after all of the dinosaurs were defeated.
