Chris had shut down the device he was given, having gone through it briefly to see if Kit, Len and Maya were here. They weren't. He was alone, and trapped in some underwater city. But he hoped he could do something to be useful to the people here, the natives and those like him who were trapped. There was that Xemnas guy with the weird spikey silver-ish hair, and at least he might be completely alone. There were others in the same boat as him. And he knew he still had his Advent Deck, so he wasn't powerless.
He dried off fairly quickly as one of the locals had given him a towel.
