[She'd been there for a couple hours now, and was already done with the initial freak out.

Actually, at the moment, she was in a pretty normal mood. She was sitting on the edge of a fountain with all of her Pokemon out, feeding them and petting them.]

[... Red couldn't believe who he's seeing right now. How long has it been since he last saw her? But he didn't get excited immediately. With this place, she might not even remember him anymore. But that was fine.

With a small smile to mostly himself, he steps forward and raises one hand to catch the girl's attention gently. He decided to meekly say her name and see for himself.]

... Kotone?

[harphearted]

Huh? [Another odd person, but he didn't seem nearly as weird as the others. She decided she'd be nice enough with this one.] I don't know anyone by that name... My name's Lyra.

[pristinestar]

[Now that was just downright strange. She looks and dresses like Kotone, but she's not her...? Red just stares for a moment, then sighs lightly. Vatheon, what have you done this time?]

[He closes his eyes faintly, then smiles at her.]

... Nice to meet you, Lyra. Did you just arrive?

Er, no problem. [this place was honestly getting weirder somehow. Either way, Lyra attempted to be friendly.]

Yep, just a couple hours ago. Not too happy about my outfit getting ruined, but I guess it's whatever now. [sigh.]

I see. Did someone tell you about this place yet, then?

[But... now that Red talked to her more, he realizes that Lyra is a bit more blunt than the shy Kotone from before. Maybe they really are different people...]

[harphearted]

No, not really. Everyone's kinda funny about it. [Maybe if you weren't so hostile, Lyra..] All I know is this place's called Vatheon, it's underwater or something, and everyone is here against their will.

[... and Lyra has still yet to notice that she's in the presence of the famous Red. Maybe she will.. eventually.]

[Eventually is right. :'D If she can realize it by his name-]

Yeah. It's... a long story. But if you'd like to come with me, I'll give you something that will be useful while you're staying here. I'll be glad to answer your questions, too. [He knows that she most likely has some! If he was in her shoes, he would, at least.]

[... should she go with him. She's been pretty much glued to this fountain since she got here buuuut... might as well.]

Um, okay. Lead the way, dude. [She returns all her pokemon to their balls - except for ixion, of course, and links arms with Red.]

Red, huh? That.. sounds familiar for some reason.

[The unexpected gesture surprises Red for a second that his mind blanks out.]

Er, is it? [... Oh, wait. Right. This girl has Pokemon. And he was able to recall that "Kotone" was from Johto. So, maybe-] Are you from Johto?

[A-anyway, leading the way now.]

[she dismisses that for now. Instead, she brushes through her upper lip.]

So you recognize me, eh? Yep! I'm from Johto. The Leauge champion, in fact!

I don't know if I do. But- [... But, they're too different from each other. Maybe he can tell her some other time, when Lyra's more accustomed to this place.] No, nevermind.

[He watches her a bit when hearing that she's the Johto Champion. But he doesn't really say anything about it but smile a bit as he kept leading the way. He stops shortly by a small office building.]

... This is the Welcoming Committee.

[harphearted]

Oh, um, okay. [that was weird. But she dismisses it for now.]

[This guy is quiet... but at least he's willing to listen to her bragging. She trails off as they walk to arceus know's where, and after they stop, she looks confused.]

Welcoming Committee? You mean... people get stuck here often?

[pristinestar]

Yes. I'm just like you. [And many others. Red leads her inside, then shortly offers a welcoming basket to her. It contains the following: a clean towel, one small packet of tissues, a hand sanitizer, a packed lunchbox containing sandwiches, this brochure, and a map of Vatheon.]

You should read the brochure. It explains the basic things about this place, there's a map inside as well.

[Lyra nods, and hesitantly opens the brochure. She's a little scared to know what it says. Reading... reading... reading..]

[done.] W-WHAT?! A-Another world? Stuck here? Fairies?! This is impossible! This.. it can't b-be.. [Lyra starts to sob a little.. would she see her mom again? Or silver? Ethan? or anyone?]

[Red watches her reaction, then slowly reaches out to place a hand on top of her head to calm her.]

... I'm sorry. I wish that I could help you go home. But the very least that I can do is help you with what I can do.
