It's frightened. If you want to befriend it, kneel down, extend your hand toward it, and wait for it to come to you. It's taken an interest in you already.

[The creature looks friendly enough... He kneels down and extends his hand toward it.]

[She kneels beside him and curiously watches, shifting to move slightly behind him.]

Don't make any sudden movements.

[The creature approaches slowly, looking more interested in following Chel than Hajime. Still, it's coming closer, at least!]

[She makes sure to remain silent, smiling as the dino approaches her. Cautiously, she holds her hand out.]

[Luckily it's friendly. It seems to really like Chel's thunder hips. Once she starts petting it, he retracts his arms and crosses them.]

[He watches her pet the dinosaur intently and answers immediately. She was right, it's somewhat cute like this...]

I'm Chel...kind of new.

[She smiles and stops petting the dinosaur to offer him a hand to shake.]

Yeah, I've only been around a week or so, but I think I'm getting familiar with the place.

You can't adjust to this place in just a week. I've been here for a month and it's still strange to me.
