(That wasn't to say he liked the part where he was actually technically already dead. He was just glad his efforts had paid off either way.)
Hands in the pockets of his coat, Axel meandered through the lower district. He hadn't spent much time there during his previous stay, so a little recon seemed in order. He hadn't gotten too far, though, before he happened by a man about his age covered head to toe in grease, but with a decidedly nice set of wheels to show for it. A low, appraising whistle blew through his lips. Axel had no idea how to ride a motorcycle, but the fifteen-year-old boy that still lived inside every grown man (heart or no heart) was all-too enthralled by the great shiny machine.
"Nice bike," he said, standing behind the man. "You build that from scratch or did you manage to bring it with you?"
Reply
"Built it, there's a store in 'The Nook' that sells the parts. That hair color...that's not natural is it?"
He had told himself he wasn't going to ask...oh well.

It was a very brief moment. Axel was rarely caught off guard for long.
"Now, now," he chided, wagging a finger and brushing a hand back through his hair, "I don't usually answer that question until a second date." And then he just laughed. "You don't beat around the bush, do you, Ace?" he chuckled. "I appreciate that." Folding his arms, he grinned. "Name's Axel. And incidentally, it is natural; got it memorized?"

"The second date? Why not the first, it's a good conversation starter. Though, it might be too impressive for them to find out it's not from a bottle."
The teen shot Axel a cheeky smile.
"My name's Sirius, it's nice to meet you. That date will have to wait, I have a policy of not dating strange guys I've only just met."

"In that case, I guess we'll have to get to know each other," he guffawed, "'cuz I think you might be the kind of person I'd like to hang out with. I can appreciate somebody who knows how to throw sass right back at me--it's rarer than you might think."
Dropping to a crouch to inspect the sidecar of the bike, Axel lifted his eyes without lifting his head, meeting Sirius' gaze.
"So where you from, Sirius?" he asked. "Anyplace I might know?" He'd never seen a vehicle quite like this one before; perhaps this fellow's world was worth hearing about.

He was tempted to answer the question with 'London' but he knew by now that answer wasn't good enough here.
"I'm from Earth, don't know if you know it, but, how about you?
