[Mion had been passing through the plaza when she suddenly stops, a chill shooting up her spine. It's an eeiry feeling, as though someone is watching her from a distance. Slowly her eyes scan the area, until she turns around and looks at an alleyway she hasn't paid attention to until now.

Standing before it is a man...or what looks like a man, anyway. It wears clothes and looks like a human, but something still seems...off.]

Er.... Hello...?

[The girl catches the Operator's attention, his head tilting in her direction. He may have no face, but there is a certain intensity, an intensity that creeps around your mind to give you the idea that he's actually staring at you.

He doesn't move just yet, though. Whatever this place was, it was strange.]

[demon_heir]

[Mion raises an eyebrow at the 'man's' lack of words. Perhaps he's just shy or scared, but he's almost certainly new.]

Hey! Do you need some help?

[She begins walking over to him, but once again her body freezes completely. A small voice in the back of her head keeps whispering "don't go. don't go over there."]

[He is still unmoving. He's watching you, girl, so don't blink.

After a few long moments, his arm twitches, but that's about it. The movement is so sudden that it doesn't seem like it happened at all. It was more like a glitch if anything. Still, his head is still facing her, examining her as a whole.

Then, if the girl listens close enough, there may be a voice in the back of her head, slowly growing louder. It's distorted and strangled, but it's there.

[Mion's eyes widen as the strange though suddenly invades her head. However, it all seems to be scrambled up somehow, and she can't quite make it out.]

He takes a step forward, his movements stiff and slow, but something very wrong is close to happening, so be on your guard.]

[Unconsciously, Mion takes a step back as he moves forward. For whatever reason, she doesn't want this man near her. Still, she isn't a coward, and there's really no reason of her to be so suspicious of someone who hasn't even done anything.

Taking a deep breath, Mion straightens herself up and keeps her eyes on the tall man.]

We're in a place called Vatheon.

[tentaclearms]

[Vatheon. A place he'd never heard of in his entire 'lifetime'.

He could sense her suspicion, but that didn't matter to him. He wanted to get out of here, wherever this was, and get back to his proxy. Again, the voice presses into Mion's mind.

'How does one leave?']

[She winces slightly as the voice once again enters her mind, but she continues talking.]

I don't know. People come and go all the time, but I don't think any of it happens consciously.

[This is a problem. A very, very big problem. His little proxy may be at a loss without him, and Alex is most definitely going to be happy about his new situation.

Unless .... unless time has stopped.

'Does time flow differently here?']

I'm not entirely sure. It might, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if it really did.

[He's satisfied with the answer -- it would be an advantage to him if he got back and things were as they were, the same as always, as if he'd never been gone.

So he's not going to say anything else, for now he'll just 'stare at her', analyzing her.]
