Enjin had woken up some time ago. When he had, he found himself face to face with the locals and less of 'his' kind--people who had been taken here as well. His fairy bobbed carefully nearby; it was white. Colorless. Almost see-through, really. After a few encounters with the people here, he'd brought himself up to speed on most of the situation (though not ALL of it) and had since then, figured out several things:
One was that he hated being wet (whoever brought him here and ruined a perfectly good coat was getting a good beating). Two, he was somewhere underwater, and three... this city was protected by a VERY interesting barrier not unlike the one around Sakurashin town. In fact, it was so interesting that, despite his exhaustion, he'd climbed up with ease to one of the Middle district's taller buildings, and was now surveying it from where he stood. No one would have been able to notice him up here, of course, as he'd cast some Mind Interference so people's eyes would skate right over his person. He needed to find a youkai to use (strangely, he had found nothing but humans here thusfar), and soon. But for now, this would do. After a moment, he lets the illusion fade--partly because he's too exhausted to keep it up and partly because he couldn't reach that barrier or determine what it was made from at this point in time. As he does so, Enjin leaps off from where he was, and it seems to everyone else he'd just appeared mid-air, and out of nowhere... and that he seems to have just jumped off a four story building with ease.
In fact, he most likely just landed right next to you!
... So, yeah. This dude with glasses and cat ears wearing a long (wet) fur coat? Just appeared right next to you somehow and didn't break his damn leg. Care to gawk? Wonder where the fuck he came from? Stare at the 'ears' on his head~? His aim was to approach some of the others here who had these weird fairies floating by them, too, and jumping off was way quicker than going down steps, after all.
