[Cissnei had become fond of the Chocobos. They were a small piece of home and she found herself drawn to them despite herself. Thus, after making one of her daily visits, the small Turk came across someone...unexpected.]

...Zack? [Her voice caught in her throat and she fell to her knees at his side.] Zack?! [She had seen him in Vatheon before, but...why was he laying down? Was he hurt?]

Are you alright? [She tucked her red hair behind her ears and moved to push him up.] Lean on me. I'll get you to the clinic.

Ciss...nei?

[Huh... How long has it been since he's seen her?]

I'm fin--[And his back pops from the sudden movement and he grins faintly. That felt pretty great. He's not sure how long he was laying there before Cloud crawled over to him after he was shot, but his body felt stiff nevertheless.] Clinic? C'mon...

[A small smile touches her lips when he remembers her name.]

At least you don't have amnesia.

[She gives him a look. She heard that pop.]

Why don't we play it safe? [Offering him her shoulder, she moves to get onto her feet.] What happened to you?

Nah. My memory's fine for the most part. A little confused, but it's there.

[He hesitates for a moment before he moves to support himself against her shoulder to stand.]

Freedom? [She frowns and wraps an arm around his waist.] What do you - [And then it clicks.] They caught up with you.

We were close. Right on the outskirts, actually. [He didn't go down without a fight, thankfully.] But yeah. ...They caught up.

[She can't hide her wince.]

I'm sorry. [Exhaling quietly, the girl takes a shaky step forward.] I'm glad you're here.

Wherever here is. [His tone is almost somber.] It's nothing like I've ever seen before.

All I can tell you is that we are underwater. [She motions up with her head.] The citizens seem peaceful enough, but there are certain guidelines you have to abide by.

Guidelines? Mind filling me in on the way to the quack?

Once a month, you need to touch the coral or else you'll feel...sick and dizzy. [She had already experienced that.] Trust me, it's easier to just touch it. You can hardly function when you feel like you have the Flu.

Coral? [He doesn't remember seeing any coral.] I used to get the flu before I joined SOLDIER. After I started getting mako treatments that became a rarity...

I'll show you where it is later. [It's kind of hard to miss once you're close to it.] Then you shouldn't risk feeling that way again.

[She glances up at him, noting the intense blue of his eyes.]

The Mako...might not react well with the magic protecting this place.

I haven't found any, but Cloud might know more about that. [She sighs.] Sephiroth and Genesis were here, but they were taken home.

[infusedeyes]

Cloud? You mean he's... He's here? [It's a relief to hear some good news.] ...I thought Sephiroth died and Genesis was in Banora the last time I saw him...
