[ ... The first thing she noticed when she woke up was that she was soaked. Then, laughing to herself as she got up quickly, Maya realized that obviously... she wasn't supposed to wake up. Not after being stabbed by the Lance of Longinus--a wound that would never, COULD never stop bleeding, created by a rumor about it. But there were things to be positive about, even if Ideal-sensei had given up... everyone would be okay. She knew they would, because she had faith in her friends, and knew Jun would continue moving forward.
As she looked around above her, more musing to herself at this point, Maya recalled a piece of poetry called The Imprint, by Anna de Noailles. She didn't seem to be fazed by the looks she was getting, or the fact she was talking to herself. ]
"The endless sea which touches all countries... Will carry on its fickle waves... The taste of my pain, bitter and salty, And tossing like a boat." Well, I guess I'm more under the ocean, huh? Did someone spread a rumor about Atlantis...? Oh, well... up and at 'em! I've been sitting here for WAY too long. The only way to know for sure is to take a look around!
[ Even though this had been the perfect end to her day from hell, and her clothes were covered in her own blood, her make up was a little runny, her hair had seen better days, and there was an obvious stab wound through them, Maya refused to stop being positive, or let that steal her smile. She could dwell later. ... Though the wound that had been inflicted on her... still kind of hurt, actually. Eventually, she wandered into the Middle district, and then locked eyes with a seafood place.
They... well, she WAS underwater, right? Of course there'd be seafood. ... She decided that everything else could wait--there was crab to be had. Maya marched over to the nearest person also with a fairy she saw (her own magenta one bobbing overhead), and proceeded to tap them on the shoulder. THAT MIGHT JUST BE YOU. Her lack of a smile doesn't last long, in fact; whoever she's tapped on the shoulder, she's grinning wide at. She's a mess. But she doesn't care. ]
Ciao! Listen, do you feel like seafood? Because... I'm starving. Let's go out and have lunch! I promise I'll pay you back as soon as I can, so what do you say?
