[He has taken to wandering around, along with towels, because he has noticed quite easily that there are new people arriving again (do they show up only at the end of the month...?). So it isn't any surprise to him when he sees two wet newcomers...though they seem to know each other. That's odd.

He walks over and offers two towels from the ones he carries.]

You are both new here, right?

"Yes~!"

He had been facing the other way, but when he hears the voice, he turns and smiles, his arms hugging around his torso. There's a towel around his neck, but he takes the new towel regardless. "It's wonderful to meet you!" A quick bow, and he holds out his hand. "I'm Tamaki, and this is Kyouya!"

Hm, well there was no shortage of manners here, thus far. Though Kyouya hated owing anyone anything. It was best to keep it to a minimum. Still, he politely smiled and took the towels, offering thanks.

"So it would seem," he commented, smiling once more.

Minato simply nodded in response to that--one seemed very exuberant, the other more calculating, not that either surprised him--and took the other's hand. He could be polite, after all, and they were new.

"My name is Minato Arisato. It's a pleasure to meet you, Tamaki-san, Kyouya-san."

He paused, allowing them a moment to dry themselves off a little, and then continued, "This is Vatheon. Have you gotten any information about this place?"

"We've been told a few things about it~," Tamaki replies, rocking on the balls of his feet. "I know that ... almost everything is free, except for the Nook stores, and that we're actually underwater, and we can't leave. Right, Kaasan?" He looks back at Kyouya, smiling. "I think that's everything."

Kyouya need only nod to Tamaki's comment, keeping his attention on their 'guest' so to speak. After all, he had to start from scratch on his reputation here. Best to make a good impression. "Certainly an interesting place," he commented, though he was questioning the motives behind it.

Minato nodded to show his understanding--that was quite a bit of information they'd already gotten, so he wouldn't waste their time repeating it all. But...Kaasan? ...He was definitely amused, behind his lack of major expression. Well, okay; maybe there was a slight smile at that.

"It can be interesting, yes," Minato acknowledged the other's comment, continuing off of that, "You've learned most of the basics. Have you been introduced to your Starfish Communicators yet?"

He avoided the term SFC as of yet, if only because when Akihiko had used that term at first, it had been...rather confusing for the blue-haired young man. Hopefully some of that confusion could be avoided this way.

"Star...fish?" Tamaki cocks his head, looking confused. "N-no, no one's said anything about any starfish..." He pauses and stares for a moment, and then gasps. "Or those!" he bursts out suddenly, pointing at the floating fairies beside them. "What even are those?? They look like souls from-- WAIT. WHAT IF THEY ARE SOULS?? WHAT IF THEY'RE GHOSTS AND THEY MEAN WE'RE CURSED!?"

Kyouya had fished into his pocket, pulling out the device. He'd felt it earlier and remembered looking at it briefly when he first arrived--though his slow start blocked most of it. Now that he was getting a better look...

"Essentially, a fancy, nautical themed cell phone, correct?"

... Souls? Really Tamamki. You weren't spazzing out about them a minute ago. "If they're cursed souls, there's not much that we can do, tousan."

For a long moment, Minato simply...decided to let the other panic himself out. There was no point in trying to talk over his yelling, after all. When Tamaki had finished, he shook his head.

"These are fairies; other than following us around, nobody is sure what they do."

With that settled, he turned back to Kyouya, giving him a nod. "That's right. They are capable of typical cell phone functions, along with video calls."

...And then he continued calmly, "Though there are curses to watch out for, they don't seem to occur often or with any regularity now."

"...Oh. Is that all?" Tamaki sort've slumped, looking up at the fairies, and pawed at the closest one curiously. "Huh..."

Wait. Wait. CURSES??

"Wait, wait, did you just say CURSES?? SO WE ARE CURSED??"

... Fairies. Hm. Kyouya really didn't pay them too much attention. Much like art, it was probably pretty to look at, not okay to touch.

"Ah, understood. I'm quite fluent with most technology," he said confidently. Tamaki would likely be fine as well.

These curses had, as well, caught Kyouya's attention, though in a much more subtle way. "Curses, hm?" So, they had been abducted.

...Yeah, that had produced the reaction he had expected, but it wouldn't have been fair to withhold information from them just because one of the two seemed...overly excitable. Instead he nodded, still quite relaxed, to Kyouya, acknowledging the easier of the two statements first.

"Everyone has their own SFC, so it is really useful for getting in contact with anyone here," Minato commented as an added side note, before shrugging in a rather ineffectual manner, his hands in his pockets hampering the movement slightly.

"The curses seem to stem from the coral, which the natives call the Lamufao. They used to happen every other week, but now seem to be more scattered. The effects can range from the harmless to the dangerous, so it's an important thing to keep in mind."

"WE CAN'T TOUCH THAT, KYOUYA!" Now the blond's rushed back to his friend, clinging to one arm. "WHAT IF WE TOUCH IT, AND SUDDENLY, WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING???"

Ah, sometimes, it was a real trip having Tamaki as a friend. Really... The older sighed, raising a hand up to his forehead. The curses stem from the coral which draws on their energy at the exchange of a social experiment? Sure. Why not. This makes great sense.

"Tamaki." Ohp. Momma's talking. "I highly doubt that this... mere coral can erase every function of our minds."

"Thank you for this assistance. I'll be sure to keep an eye out."

Minato paused for a moment at that, about to say something, and then thought better of it. Instead, he stepped over to the coral and touched it himself, feeling the rejuvenating effect and shaking his head slightly, blue hair flopping into his eyes for a moment.

"We aren't sure why it does this, but it seems to be mostly harmless."

He lifted his hand, demonstration done, and nodded to them both, politely. "If you'd like, I could show you where to get some dry clothes. There are a number of stores around here that should help with that."
