[Alphonse had finally succeeded in dragging Ed out of the library, for once, and out into the bustling evening of the festival. While the occasion was certainly a new celebration for the two, such festivals really brought back memories of their childhood. It was such a great feeling to just be able to be together and enjoy each others company at the festival without having to worry about work or fighting or fixing things that had gone wrong.
Another reason to celebrate was the fact that today was Edward's birthday and Alphonse really wanted to do something special together to celebrate it. He knew that Ed wouldn't want anything big so Al decided it would be best to keep it small and closed only to friends from home. After all, they hadn't been here in Vatheon all that long anyway so they didn't have many friends outside of their small Amestris circle in the first place.
So, unbeknownst to the elder sibling, the younger was in fact leading him through the festival to a secret surprise party awaiting him at a picnic table beneath a cluster of cherry trees in the park. They would stop at a booth every now and then, but all the while they grew closer and closer to the park!]
[ooc: sooo basically the only way I found this to work is to have two separate threads in the same log. So there will be a thread for Ed and Al, leading up to the surprise, and so they can have special brother bonding moments. And there will also be a party thread for when they finally arrive at their destination in the park. This way you guys don't have to sit around and wait for the brothers to thread up to the point of arrival to jump in. Please let Twi respond to Al in the party thread first before you attack him lolol
since there's five of us I wont place a specific posting order so just so what you want =u=]
