[Smell that? It's the varying food stalls you can find! Most of them have more traditional food--like Buddha's delight, mandarin oranges, noodles and nian gao--but others have foods that can be found, though they're few and far between.
[Aw man! There's so many great smells floating throughout the city! So of course, Alice is running about and stuffing her face at each and every one of them!
But wait...]
What kind of food is this?
[Alice hasn't seen some of these delicious looking dishes before. Ah but that doesn't matter! food is food so she's going to eat it either way!
Care to bother her? Or maybe tell her what kinds of dishes these are? Perhaps you're also out and about scarfing down food like there's no tomorrow? Might as well be piggies together! C: ]

[She glances over to the unfamiliar voice, her cheeks puffed with food. She gives him a once over before swallowing the food contents in her mouth and resting her eyes on his plate of dumplings.
[here's Rose, looking skeptically at some of the food but trying most of it anyway. God knows she's probably had weirder in outer space. currently she's staring at the nian gao, debating if she wants to try it]

[And here's Yuna, outfitted and carrying one of the lanterns she just got for herself. She smiles, seeing a familiar face, and taps Rose's shoulder from behind.]
Oh? [She thinks about it; in all honestly, she had heard about the different worlds but never knew their names. Earth... ] What kind of big adventures?
All sorts of alien invasions, the beginning of World War Three, walking dead bodies, even shop mannequins and Christmas trees tryin' to kill me. It's utterly nuts.
You must have had some big adventures of your own.
[She's with her... kind of. As much as she can be. But at the words 'walking dead bodies', Yuna visibly pales. Still, she tries to keep her composure with a little smile.]
I... see. I heard a little about Christmas, though not much. Just that there's snow all over the ground. And it's a little like a festival, yes? Nothing about trees, I'm afraid.
And I guess I've had a few adventures. During my pilgrimage, I've seen a lot of different people and heard a lot of stories. [But most are too somber to tell; not tonight at a festival. There is one thing that does bring a smile to her face.] Do you know anything about blitzball?
[She practically lights up. As she talks, she animates her words with her hands.]
It's a game, a sport played underwater in a large spherepool for ten minutes. Everyone from every part of Spira goes to see the tournament. And when they see their favorite teams from their hometown or city, they cheer and cheer until they can't cheer anymore!
[She laughs openly and honestly, sobering up just enough to talk again]
Everyone gets so excited... it's nice, seeing so many people so happy.

When he hears the voice he looks up from a plate of dumplings with a thoughtful look before he pops another in his mouth.]
Who cares? It's amazing!

Boy did they look delicious.]
Hey hey! What are those!?

[He squints and looks beyond the counter.]
Gou... Joe--Yeow... [He's clearly struggling with it! Uno momento.] Jau gook? Gok? Whatever it's called--They're just dumplings!

Dumplings? What do those taste like? Are they really good?

Um, this time I think I'll pass. It's prob'ly just regular Earth food, but looks a bit too-- squishy for my taste.

Earth? Is that's somewhere you've visited on your adventures?
