[Such a lovely morning it was! So lovely in fact that Esther decided she'd like to go for a walk in the forest and feed some of the animals that lived there. So off she went carrying a basket of goodies into the forest. During her travels she seemed to happen upon a stray... but this is one stray she knew fairly well so she decided to venture over to say hello!

He didn't appear to notice her wandering over, even when she stopped in front of him. He seemed to be lost in thought. So she bent over a bit, basket in her hands clasped behind her back and peered down at him curiously.]

Mister Raven?

[ He looks up when he hears her voice, and when he realises who it is he grins. ]

Esther. What brings you out here so early?

[esthydear]

[She returns his grin with a cheerful smile]

Good morning! I could ask you the same thing, mister Raven.

[thricemade]

[ He holds up a hand in protest. ]

Just Raven, please. I'm not anythin' special.

[ Then he stands, leaning against the tree with a grin. ]

Couldn't sleep, that's all. Nothing special.

Alright, Raven.

[While adjusting her posture back upright she swings the basket she had been holding behind her back around in front of her so he can take a look.]

I was just bringing some breakfast for the animals out here... [She paused to think about it for a moment.] I do hope that's okay, I've never seen a sign that says "Do not feed the animals" or anything like that... huh.

I'm sure that's fine, Esther darlin', I'm sure no one's gonna mind much.

[ He grins, looking around. ]

I'm sure the animals appreciate it.

[She smiles and nods in return. She didn't see it really being too much of a problem either.]

Yes, I do believe you're right about that!

And what about you, have you had a proper breakfast yet at all?

[ He shakes his head with a small smile. ]

Nah, I hadn't really thought about it.

Well that just wont do!

[She reaches a gloved hand into her basket and pulls out one of the rolls of bread she had been carrying around for the animals and holds it out towards him.]

Here, it may not be much but it's certainly better than nothing!

[ He smiles a little softer, reaching out and taking the roll. ]

[She watched him carefully as he took the roll, smiling, though something seemed to be a bit out of place... ]

Ahh, it's really nice out, huh? [She stretches a bit before deciding to sit down next to where he's standing.] I had almost forgotten how pretty this place looks in the mornings.
