[What is this white wolf doing out all the way here? Yomiel pauses as he stares at her from a few feet away. And wait a second...was it growing trees?]

[And he's just going to gape a bit because he's never seen anything like that before.]

[Ammy stops what she's doing, looking at the newcomer. Huh! Didn't see you come in, sir.]

[Yeah, well, he's just *subtle* that way. Or something like that.]

Why is a wolf growing trees? Nevermind, this place doesn't make enough sense for me to be thinking about that...

[Dude it's almost New Years, isn't it obvious?

She trots right up to him, wagging her tail in a friendly way.]

[Not really. As far as he knows, New Year's was a while ago.]

[Yomiel is a cat person, so he's not that friendly with dogs or wolves. But he still quirks a tiny smile at her approaching. Animals were much better at understanding things than people sometimes.]

I'm guessing this is a sort of job for you, right?

[She doodles on the ground, the kanji for her name, with a sun drawn to frame it just in case he can't read 'Amaterasu'.]

[He can read it a bit, since he had to know some languages for when he programmed all those nation's secrets in one place. But he doesn't recognize it as being the name of a god, though, because as far as we know, his country has different gods.]

Ama...Amaterasu? So you can write as well as grow trees, huh? You're pretty smart for a wolf...

[She puts a little wolfy grin on her face, wagging her tail, as if boastfully.]

[And he can't help but give a softer smile than his usual smirk.]

Aren't you the prideful one? Well, I'd be prideful too, if I could do things like that...

[Yup! She likes impressing people, that much is for certain. She blooms a patch of wildflowers at his feet.]

What are you, some kind of magical wolf with plant powers? Really, I wouldn't be surprised anymore if that were true...
