It stung, it really stung.
It brought her completely down on her knees, with a soft cry of pain. Hands went directly to the wound on her thigh, compressing what she could of the bandage. It was poorly wrapped as of now, hastily taken care of in the tower without Lady really considering how much of a tole it'd take.
She was planning to go home and just soak in hot water, a bath. But she was soaked alright, not the warm water she was hoping to be in. She winced, taking a deep breath, hoping to level out the pain before she got up. Just take it easy, sit here for a few moments and get back up. A half crooked smile at her inner scolding, she didn't bother to look up at first, instead holding her hands, the balls of her palms against the wound. It stung and it might have started bleeding again, but she was going to get through this without bleeding and stumbling all over. Almost like salt in the wounds.
A sniff came from her, taking one hand, to her wet hair to push some of it out of her face. Was it flat? It felt completely flat. She tsked at this, pulling back to see she was still completely soaked.
"Great," a mutter of disapproval. Her thoughts went to the seal itself, sure it was closed and that the tower had sunken back to the depths of Hell where it belonged. Finally, as the pain subsided to a smaller degree, Lady heaved a sigh, pulling her head back to study her surroundings.
Unless this is another... part? A gate?
The seal was still gone, so why was she here? Disbelief stood on her face, staring agape at... coral?
"This is ridiculous," She took a fist to the ground and immediately hoisted herself up, ignoring whatever pain or drip of blood that went down her thigh. With a tug of Kalina Ann on her shoulder, she stormed off from where she was thrown.
