Akito knows that compared to Kururu he's useless. Incapable of Tuning past 23%, or making a proper Regalia. But he doesn't let that stop him from doing his best to make Ikki a pair of A-T that were better than a pair just pulled from a shelf and put together haphazardly. Being a Tuner himself - as much as one as he can be without the innate ability that all Tuners need, at least - he's taken opportunities to listen to the Sound Ikki makes. Never as in-depth as he would like (biorhythms confuse him too much; he has nothing to help him discern their intricate patterns...) but he knows enough to make a pair of Air Trecks for his crow that are at least as powerful as Agito's Regalia at one-fourth their strength.
To him, getting Ikki a pair of A-T to use as soon as possible is the most important thing. That's why he's currently passed out on his coffee table; screws and small parts digging and sticking to his cheek as he sleeps atop the work he's completed so far. He had never been one to stay up late or pull all-nighters, but there was no time to waste with sleep in this situation! A couple more adjustments and additions and they will be the best 'wings' Akito will be able to offer his crow.
