8th Journey // In which Sora and Co give pirates a warm welcome
Characters: Sora and vatheon
Location: The Plaza
Time: Sometime after 1am after the ghosts are tangible, and the safehouses are announced
Style: Any, but action's my thang
Status: Open to anyone! Civilians, heroes, and those who generally exude badassery
When the night comes alive with ghosts and ghouls, Sora is of course at the heart of it all, sprinting through the plaza in a shower of sparks and magic and clashing sound. Sora shows no signs of tiring, and no intention of hiding at the safehouse. He's needed where he is, ushering locals and foreigners alike to safety.
With devastating strikes and well timed spells, he pushes forward through a group of pirates to clear a path for a young man and woman caught in the chaos. Unfortunately, Sora can only be in one place at once, and it slowly becomes more apparent that while he is a formidable foe and these pirates are hardly difficult, the young couple is terrified.They are panicked, and Sora can only defend them so well in such a state. Sora can only block so many shots, can only fend off so many blows. For a moment, Sora seems in over his head, frantically trying to fend off pirates at all sides. Both Sora and the couple are herded into a corner. There are even pirates lurking overhead on the rooftop, pistols aimed and poised to fire.
To the pirates, this trio seems like easy prey in an easy city.
But Vatheon is filled with more dangers than pirates tonight. And Sora isn't alone.
