Riku followed Hisoka silently, glancing around whenever he sensed something. Though, the closer they got to the warehouse the more obvious the traps were becoming. He offered a hand to Hisoka, and quite possibly a Cure spell.
"He would have known either way after that message on the SFC." Besides, wasn't this all part of their plan in the first place?
Riku keeps his hand outstretched to Hisoka as the other placed the shields back up. He knew and expected that. "Sora, careful of what you say." If there were any cohorts outside listening... Well, his senses told him there weren't, at least.
Still, can't help him for wanting to be cautious as they approached.
Hisoka kept focused ahead, focused on rescuing Tsuzuki. It hadn't been that long, before they'd come to Vatheon, since he'd gotten him back from almost dying because of the Doctor's actions, he wasn't going to lose him again. He clenched his fist. "Let's get this over with."
Sora nods, he summons his keyblade. He doesn't feel any immediate danger, but they're already pretty close to where Tsuzuki's being held. Anything could happen.
"Can you guys pinpoint where he is, or do we gotta call this guy out? Get his attention somehow?"
Chances were that he'd likely come out on his own, especially when they started closing in on Tsuzuki.
Riku's Keyblade is out the not even a second after Sora's, nodding faintly at the question. "I can sense him nearby somewhere." He kept moving forward, eye twitching slightly. He despised going towards this particular scent so much. Though, it seemed like their target wasn't that far off, either.
Hisoka pulled his gun, the only weapon he had at the moment. "I'm pretty sure he's in the last building down there, but if I lower my shields again, I'm not going to make it. Muraki planned for me to scry for him."
"That's good, Hisoka. That's all we need. Keep your shields up. We can track him from there." Sora nods at the two of them and tightens his grip on his keyblade.
"Let's go." He gives the other two a nod before he sets off at a medium pace in the direction of the last warehouse. His eyes scan the dark windows and entrances for movement.
"My turn, then." Riku paused for a moment, closing his eyes. It was much easier to sense things when his eyes were closed and he let the other side guide him. Just like Hisoka said, the scent was coming from the last building.
Hopefully They were walking right into a trap, and though he had his emotions in check... a faint smirk crossed his lips as he picked up the pace to match Sora's.
Hisoka hung behind them, both because he was already a bit drained, but also because he knew that they would be more useful than he was. And they weren't liabilities. Hisoka hated that feeling of being useless. After everything was settled, he was going to find himself a weapon other than his gun.
Sorry if I've kept you waiting! xblood_lustingJanuary 5 2011, 16:15:26 UTC
And the darkness around them only grows even deeper the further in they get. It almost seems to be tangible; thick as a fog and seemingly able to suck them in. The doctor had done more than just obscure everyone's view. He's managed to mask his location as well as Tsuzuki's.
Oh, but he's there. He's there and he's watching this little rag tag group rather closely. Is he lurking in the back? Up in the rafters? You can't be too certain. It seems his aura is just creeping out of every single crevice in this warehouse. This is his territory and he's not scared to show you. The puppy's there, too, hidden in the darkness as the doctor is.
And as the trio draws near the warehouse, even finds an entrance into the foreboding space, the darkness closes in on them. The atmosphere is cold, heavy and suffocating, but Sora's faced darkness before and he doesn't falter. Not yet. He can feel his teammates at his back, can hear them breathing in the dark, can feel them as they trek into the warehouse.
The darkness is too think to be able to see father than a few feet ahead and it'll be easy to get separated in this.
Sora turns back to his two teammates, expression saying everything.
Nah, I've been holding them back too. o-orzlimitless_landJanuary 6 2011, 01:16:24 UTC
The grasp on his keyblade tightens as they delve deeper into the darkness. Funny, how he's been so saturated by both elements before. This was almost like wearing his blindfold again, and all this darkness... it makes him smirk, perhaps overconfident.
Namine's words remind him that his strength is in both, so really, Muraki. You would try to overload one half? His look in response to Sora's is only that of determination. The doctor picked the wrong target, as per the usual. "Come out, Muraki. We know you're here."
And unlike the forest, he was going to show another power of his. One he's been holding back. 'Careful. With this much darkness...' A cryptic thought that could very well be a warning to himself.
oh man... poor Hisoka...empathic_kittyJanuary 6 2011, 02:08:26 UTC
Hisoka was holding his shields as tight as he could, and he had his gun ready. His empathy wasn't going to do any good at this point, between the massive amounts of darkness around them, and the misdirection Muraki was causing.

Sora looks back at the boy. Even Sora knows the teen must be struggling with the heavy atmosphere. He resists the urge to touch him, though, even as a form of support. Hisoka's hold over his power is precarious at the moment.
Instead, he just gives a teen a supportive look before looking back out into the darkness in wait.

"We just gotta be careful. As long as we can keep Muraki busy long enough, that's what's important."
Long enough for Terra to get Tsuzuki out, that is.
