He was talking to one of them then when he felt the slight chill before Vanitas' had clasped his shoulder. Ven blinked, a bit confused. His other had...something to show him?]
Uh...sure. What is it?

[He tugged Ventus along, having spotted yet another in the crowd, and with no warning, he was tugging both Ventus and Sora away from the area.]
You'll see. It's something an idiot like you is bound to appreciate.

W-wait a second, what's going on?
[The only thing that stopped him from jerking his hand away from Vanitas was the fact that Ven was there. And he seemed complacent enough to follow so... Sora just eyed his doppelganger suspiciously as he was pulled along.]

[And now he was being tugged along, shortly joined by Sora. He blinked, now even more curious.]
No idea, but hey, Sora.
[Didn't mean he wasn't a bit on edge, though. Ven frowned at Vanitas at the last bit, though.] And I'm not an idiot!

[Honestly, they're both letting themselves be dragged along by a known enemy without protest, and despite Vanitas' intentions not leading towards their utmost peril, really, would it hurt to have a little more self-preservation?]
[He continued dragging them despite this, out of the crowds, down the street, towards the forest. The faster they made it there, the better.]

Tell us what's going on already, or we're not going anywhere!

[Even with Sora there, he had a bad feeling about that place...]

Well too bad; why would I drag you off to the forest for a fight, when I'd rather your humiliations be made public?
As I said before; its something an idiot like you will enjoy, Ventus. If that's not good enough for either of you, go back to the crowds.
[He could always think of something else, later.]

[Only he's not sorry at all. But he hesitates. He doesn't know Vanitas, doesn't know what he's capable of aside from threatening. Even if Vanitas is all talk, he's not happy Roxas or his friends were the target.]
[But if they were in real trouble, Ventus would be... fighting him off right? He hesitates, looking for some sort of confirmation from the blond.]

Not to mention threatening Terra and Aqua, and hurting who knows how many people in our time... [...yet still not as bad as Xehanort's track record. Sweet Light. Ventus gives him a look asking "How do I know you're not gonna try and forge it again?" before glancing at Sora. Pure curiosity made him want to follow, but if things went bad... he'd grab his student and flee on the Glider.]

[He blatantly ignored Sora in favor of looking at Ven, since it seemed that his other was really the deciding factor. It wasn't hard to guess what he was thinking. He leaned closer to Ventus, a little private word just for him.]
One of us has to be dying for it to work, idiot. Do you really think I'm going to get myself flattened by the two of you?
[And straightening, he left them behind to continue down the path. Whether they followed or not was up to them.]

You buying this?

[He watches Vanitas go without a word, but there's a faint spark in his hand.]
No, but now I'm curious. [He pauses, looking to Sora.] If he tries anything, we jump on the Glider and get out of there.

[And Sora moves down the path, slowly at first, and then at a quicker pace. He's wary of the darker surroundings and careful to keep an eye on where Ven is. What's Vanitas got planned?]
