[It was the glitz that caught his attention first; kind of hard to miss it, really. The second was the sheer size of the tree, and the mound of wrapped gifts underneath it. Couldn't hurt to go see what the fuss was all about, right?]

[He hadn't been expecting to see a present with his name on it though; chuckling under his breath, Ban kneels down, hefting it up in his hands. Nothing huge, and it wasn't very heavy either. Hm...]

[He'd come out to investigate the tree shortly after the clothing had reverted and was amused to see that it would seem that there was even something with his own name on it, rather large and round, similar in shape to a hat box.

He noticed Ban's arrival shortly after having extracted the package from under the tree and without further ado, tucked it under an arm and against his side as he wandered over to watch the other man, silently curious as to just what Midou had received from the city.]

[Just about to pull the ribbon off of the gift when he felt a familiar presence; raising an eyebrow, Ban paused, nodding to acknowledge the other man.]

You found a present with your name on it too, hn?

[Well that has to be the best reception he's gotten from the man since he arrived here. He graces Midou with a smile which actually for once doesn't make it look like he's on the verge of committing murder within the next minute or two.]

[Holy crap, a nice-looking smile. Hiding his surprise, Ban glances down at Akabane's gift.]

Thanks for the basket, by the way.

[If you've ever seen a large hat box before Ban, it should be easy enough to guess what Akabane got without him opening the present in front of you.]

How long did it take to pick out the wine?

It took me perhaps an hour or two, I believe.

[Of course included within that time-frame was finding the shop with it and picking out all four bottles, then arranging their delivery with the baskets.]

So did you kill that clown, or did it end in a truce.

A truce for now...since neither of us desired to destroy the building around us.

[Well..if you call a 'truce' knocking the other man out cold anyway. Kefka might not of cared about the building's destruction, but he hadn't wanted to seek out a new apartment himself.]

[Oh hey, it's that guy. When Rider comes out of hiding, she senses that he's close by. She remains close to her building, watching to see what he's doing.]

[When he turns his head, shaking his gift, he catches a glimpse of Rider standing toward a building. Smiling lightly, he reaches out, beckoning her to come over.]

[At least she's a bit closer, though he nods for her to come closer if she'd like to.]
