[What is this? A bitty redhead seems to be wandering around the Plaza of Vatheon, looking rather lost... like several other children around her. She is rather cautiously

[There's another young boy nearby, hand up by his forehead as he scans the plaza. He appears to be searching for something. And when Kairi calls out for her grandma, he perks up a little and runs over to her.]

Hey!

Are you looking for somebody too?

[Eep! Who was this? Kairi looks startled, spinning around to face this new boy.] Um. Yeah. My Grandma.

Really? I'm looking for people too. Two of em'.

My best friend Riku and mom. But I can't find anybody.

[As he looks at Kairi, an idea comes to him. What if they team up? Two people would find them way faster than just one.]

Maybe since we're both missing our friends, we can look together.

[Kairi blinks, eyes wide. Ohhh... wait, she knew one of those names!] Riku? [She had met a Riku! Kairi pauses, then comes forward to grab Sora's hand, oh-so-carefully. Then she is going to tug him to where a Riku is!]

Yeah! That's his name! You got it right!

[And that's when he feels Kairi's take his hand in hers. Okay! Looks like they're going to look together. He follows her easily.]

Huh? Where're we going?

[She smiles brightly at his praise, hoping she could remember where Riku had disappeared to. He had gone off that way and told her to stay put, but now she needed to find him, so she couldn't just wait! She holds the boy's hand very tightly, a determined look on her face as she searches for the other, silver-haired boy.] This way.

[Riku had seen someone passing by with an ice cream and asked where they got it. However, when he gets back where he left Kairi... she's gone. Riku pouts a bit, crossing his arms.] Where'd she go? I told her I'd be right back...

[Then he sees her and.... wait, she found Sora? Awesome! Cue him waving them both down.]

[Sora spots the familiar friend and his face lights up immediately. He turns excitedly to Kairi.]

You did it! You found Riku!

[She grins back, quite happy suddenly, although she wasn't sure exactly why. She waves as they make their way to Riku, still holding Sora's hand.] Um... [She glances back at at the spiky haired boy, blinking. Oh. Right. She was supposed to introduce herself, wasn't she?] I'm Kairi, [Head tilt.] Whats your name?

[Riku ran to meet up to the two, shaking his head at the two.] I leave for one minute and you wander off again.

[He pouts a bit, but smirks.] Hey, Sora. Took you long enough.

My name's Sora. [Sora doesn't seem to notice she's still hanging on, but he doesn't really let go either. Kairi's pretty nice! And she's good at finding stuff. Guess since they know each others names now, they can be friends.]

Aw Riku, I came as fast I could! This place is huge!

But I found him, [Kairi protests to Riku, pointing at the spiky-haired boy happily.

Oh! This was Sora?] Hi, Sora! [She replies, a bit belatedly. But that was okay because they were all definitely friends now.]

Yeah, true. [He grins, crossing his hands behind his head for a moment and grinning at them both in a teasing manner.]

Yeah, no kidding. Hmm... Maybe we should look around a bit, see what we can find. [Maybe they'd find a place to play! ...and Kairi's grandma.]

[Playtime... is a great idea, Riku. After they find the grown ups of course.]

Or we can go eat somewhere. [He places a hand over his stomach. breakfast was a long time ago.] I'm kinda hungry.
