Kagome saw the small child and she walked up to him. She knelt down in front of him and flashed him a smile.

"Well hello. My name is Kagome, what's yours?"

The child shifted his weight shyly, returning her bright smile for one that was tentative. He had to remind himself that this wasn't Shibuya, so it was likely that nobody around here knew about him.

"...Yoshiya. It's, um, nice to meet you, Miss Kagome."

Kagome smiled even more. What a very polite child.

"It's nice to meet you too Yoshiya."

She glanced around Vatheon. She had a weak spot for children and she was worried about letting him go without supervision. "Do you live around here?"

A shame he'd lose some of this when he gets older. The child gave her a shrug.

"I don't...really know. Um, I don't know how I got here or anything." He looked disappointed, or perhaps 'sad' was the better term.

Some of it? Kagome knelt down and went to put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay. I'll look out for you. You're be alright..okay?"

...A lot of it. The child blinked at the action, but he relaxed a little at the touch. She didn't look like she was lying to him.

"...Okay, Miss Kagome." He smiled a bit more. "Where are we, though?"

Lol aww he's still cute as an adult...just you know he's now sarcastic and bitter XD

That's a shame...he's such an awesome kid Kagome noticed that he relaxed, so she gently kept her hand there.

"Okay then. Are you hungry?" She smiled at him. "We are in a place called Vatheon."

Well...yeah. |D; But still awesome.

"A little," Joshua replied, tilting his head at the foreign word. He had never heard of any place called Vatheon. "Vatheon? Where's that?"

Kagome stood and offered her hand to the child. "Lets go find some food for you then. What do you like to eat?" She's quiet as she thinks of the question. "Well this is Vatheon...its under the sea."

"Anything you want will be fine, Miss Kagome," Joshua told her, shyly taking her hand. He looked up at the sky when she said that, blinking in astonishment. A small smile tugged his lips upward. "Wow! Kind of like Atlantis!"

"Okay, sounds good." Kagome holds his hand gently as she starts walking towards town. She felt...weird but almost happy doing this since she usually loved children. She smiled down at the child. "Yeah...its kinda like that"
