[He has his daggers still in hand, but Matthew is not stupid. He knows Enjin's intent, and he knows that he is already at the disadvantage purely for not being much of a melee fighter. If he had been able to catch Enjin off guard and stab him in the back, perhaps, but this way...

He retreats a few steps, backwards, never letting his back face Enjin and watching the other warily.]
