The manor where Adrian had been staying had its own impressive selection of books, ranging from fiction or factual, from large scientific volumes to the sweetest of picture books. Yes, he adored that library very much, as he too enjoyed to read there... But he had been a terrible homebody as of late and decided that a little walk around Vatheon and, perhaps, a little bit of exploration, would do him the world of good (only this time he decided against shapeshifting... Having a worrying niggle in the back of his mind that he might have let a few in on his true nature that day he had shifted into that small bat). He seemed to magnatize towards his home's sister library in the middle district.
Adrian had spent almost all of the evening there, the place seemed deserted bar the one librarian who was snowed under with sorting all of these books.
He had watched her tidy away a selection of fantasy novels and, unsure what it was that drove him to do so, he noted the pattern in which she had alphabetized them and moved to assist her (without telling her he was doing so) at the other end of the library.
There, in the children's section, surrounded by all the colourful and rather exciting looking novels, Adrian came across a selection of very interesting looking pop-up-books*. Each large book had it's own theme and he paused over the book titled Vampirology. He looked around just to check and see that nobody was watching him, before he unshelved the book and flicked through it.
A giggle as he whispered a few of the words out loud to himself.
"...vampires, or the 'Fallen Ones', who have lived amongst us since the beginning of time..." he skipped a few paragraphs to read a large subtitle "The Ritual of making? Heh heh, oh good grief... it's all so romanticized." he shut the book but not before playing with a few more of the pop-up levers and continued to sort the the kiddies books "Hmm... A book about faeries, nicely illustrated... I wonder if Namine would enjoy this? Perhaps it is too young for her..."
*[[OOC: Have you ever heard of the Ology books? They're magical! Take a look at their
official website and see for yourself! And no... I don't care if they're kids books :3]]
