Jackal on the prowl

After his conversation with Alucard, Akabane decided due to the fact since he currently had nothing better to do he might as well check the city out and perhaps see if he might just find either Midou-kun or Ginji without actually asking around for the two quite yet. The city was an interesting place certainly, even without the small show he had been treated to earlier. He spent several minutes studying the overhead view and watching with some interest when sea life managed to make itself known as it swam over the city on its way to who knew where.
The people he saw along the way seemed rather friendly, and if not for the earlier violence he'd seen, he might have despaired that his time here would be possibly rather boring. Their generosity made him curious though as to just why they were so willing to give away their time and wares to him for nothing. Perhaps it was connected with the as yet unknown reason he was here, he would have to seek that answer likely in a more subtle manner once he figured out just how one told the natives of this place from the foreigners.
Just as well that they were so eager to give him anything material he might desire here, he had no way to pay for anything and he rather doubted he could resume his line of work within this confined city to make any money.
