Alucard's voice floating on the stale air of Vatheon, soft and gentle as he approaches the extravagantly dressed, silver-haired, young man. Alucard could sense a new presence in Vatheon quite easily, especially when their essence was tainted mixed with that of the paranormal. He was not yet quite skilled enough to figure out what dark aura it was this young man held, but he could feel it nonetheless.
"I was only recently torn from my world myself, there is a lot to learn and I fear I am not the best to explain it to you... But that is of little mind now, I suppose, are you all right? I trust the arrival did not scathe you?"

Dante looked over the man who was now in front of him. He was certainly pretty for a guy, but there was something else hidden underneath. What it was, he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
He looked himself over, making sure nothing had torn or scratched at him since he arrived. Nope, nothing. "It seems I'm perfectly fine, thank you."
Reply
"I am glad to hear you are unharmed." Alucard paused for a moment, his voice as calm and gentle as it had been, but he felt his eyes narrow as that scent became all the more unsettling and -without a hint of hesitation- he added "You are not entirely human, are you?"

He tilted his head to the side and crossed his arms, a smirk forming along with a cocky glint to his eyes. This place sure held different kinds of people. A beer would be nice right about now.

"No, or at least, half of me is not. My other half does gift me with certain abilities, one of which was being able to... sense your nature. If that makes any sense at all... There are others like me here... Like you, who tend to have darker heritages than most normal men."
Reply
It's too bad the man didn't tell him what his other half was. If he had, maybe Dante would have let him in on his own little not-so-secret.

"You... are wise in your assumptions," Alucard said with some remorse "for this place does weaken one over time. You may not be able to feel it now, but over time, it weighs on heavily. Or at least it has with me." Alucard had to deal with this strange draining of his energy as well as that constant hunger, yes, he felt exhausted most of the time.
"Tell me... what are you, for I have felt another here with your same aura and you scent is unfamiliar to me."
Reply
"What about you~?"
Reply
"I am a Dhampire, a term that most seem unfamiliar with... My mother was human, my father; vampire."
Reply
"Do you have a name?" There was something about his tone that was teasing.
Reply
"Well of course I do," he said, clearing his throat and trying his best to sound positive "You may call me Alucard, and I am not entirely surprised that you have not met that many vampires as we are quite illusive... Although there are a few here now, most of them are, unlike me, complete vampires."
Reply
Dante's hungry, remember? Remember it's all about him?
Reply
"I-I beg your pardon?!" Panties? Women's things? Clearly this man was more than a little brash. Alucard would have to ignore that comment entirely so that he could continue their conversation.
"It is a... pleasure to meet you too, Dante." Now, to change the subject "Now that I think on it, Dante is a rather unusual name, it makes me think of the poem the Divine Comedy."
Reply
"Alucard's a pretty unsual name, too. But you are a vampire, afterall. Dracula." There's a slight serious note to his teasing, but then he gets to the point -- "I'm hungry."
Reply
"What's that?! Now, wait a moment there, you have barely spoken to me and yet you have deciphered my alias?" Did he just say alias? For goodness sake, this demon-man was flustering him. "Do you have some sort of... demonic powers at your disposal? And please refrain from changing the subject like that. You should really answer me and then I can escort you to somewhere where you can find something suitable to eat."
Reply
Damn straight Dante always got what he wanted, being polite about it or not.
