001 ♑ Eyes

There was something about the coral.
Eyes regarded it warily, hands tucked into his pockets. A light morning breeze twitched the folds of his jacket, the sleeves hiding the mark on his shoulder that had almost begun to fade into the background. After it had faded, of course, his lips twitching in slight amusement at the thought. And that then, came back to the coral.
According to that woman, (and this thought was layered with some disdain), it was their deity Lamufao who had caused them, a ragtag group of people from various worlds (it seemed) with no clear connection, to be unceremoniously brought here. And, this...coral which seemed to be the only cure for the lethargy that plagued them was also called Lamufao. As for the side effects that seemed to come with it...well, he'd heard enough.
There was something he was missing here, maybe. Some vital piece of information. A thought of home tugged at his conscious for a moment, before he tucked it deep, deep away again. It wouldn't help him to get back.
Carefully schooling his face away from the melachonic mask he was sure it had settled into, Eyes stood there, watching the scintillating blue glow.
