[They were able to transport Neku without too much difficulty--though it was more Mr. H than Alice?, much as he wishes he were able to better help out.
And when they are safe and sound in their own home (or what stands for home, though he really cannot be sure...and this isn't the time for that anyway), and Neku is safe and sound in bed, there is an uncertain pause.
And Alice? bites his lip and looks down, uncertain. He isn't angry anymore. How could he be? Neku is there, lying in bed and horribly injured and it's all his fault and--
