Oh, hey, Touka.

[Oh, hey, she's looking really cute today. Funny how he never used to notice that until, well... he realized how she felt.]

So, let's go help this guy out. Where is he?

[girlpowertouka]

Okay! He's not too far. Come on. I'll show you.

[She starts to walk out the door.]

[Akina follows. He may look a little out of it. That's because he has a lot of things on his mind.]

[She notices.]

You okay, Akina-san?

[He shakes his head.]

Oh, uh, I'm fine. We can deal with it later.

Okay.

[Ahhh oh god.]

Anyway, we're here.

[She knocks on the door.]

Alice-san, are you here.......?

[protagonized]

[After a few moments, he opens the door.

It's been a trying few weeks, for...though Mr. H is back, that hasn't erased everything that has happened. So he looks exhausted when he answers the door, but he musters up a smile for Touka.]

Hey.

[girlpowertouka]

[She smiles back.]

Hey. How are you?

[She gestures to Akina.]

This is Akina-san. He thinks he can help whatever that Enjin bastard did to you. Akina-san, this is Alice-san.

[idkmybffthecity]

[Akina waves at Alice.]

Hey.

[He then gives him a quick lookover. He visibly winces.]

Ouch. He's got it bad. That's definitely from Enjin trying to tune him.

[protagonized]

[He nods in response.]

Nice to meet you.

[And then...a pause. He doesn't even--

He wishes he knew what was going on, now. The fact that he can't remember still terrifies him at times, and he can't really think about it or it'll overwhelm him. So he pushes back the terror and hesitates.]

...What does that mean?

It's... complicated.

[His hair grows out a little longer as he puts his hand out.]

I'll explain in just a bit. For right now, though, give me your hand and I'll help you out.

[He hesitates. It is so difficult to put his trust into people, but--

This is Touka's friend.

And he does trust Touka. So after that moment's hesitation, he takes Akina's hand.]

Okay.

[There is a brief flash of light, as Akina re-tunes Alice, bringing him back into total alignment with this dimension.]

There. You feeling better?

[girlpowertouka]

[Touka's......actually feeling quite jealous right now because ALICE-SAN GETS TO HOLD AKINA'S HAND. WHY DOES EVERYONE GET TO HOLD HIS HAND BUT HER. CRY.]

[And just like that, some of that exhaustion, that off feeling and that simply terrible feeling melts away.

He releases his grip on Akina's hand, instead bringing it to rub a shaky hand over his face.]
