Here's what it means for me...
I'm not, nor shall I ever be again, a first time home buyer. I really can't justify a new car right now. Even if I could, I wouldn't ever buy a hybrid. I would consider buying an electric car in the next few years though. I wonder if they'll hold over the benefit until I can actually buy one?
I could "greenify" my home. I already have new weather stripping and CFL bulbs everywhere in the house. Maybe I can find something else to do.
Broadband for the boonies! Thank god. It's about time.
Better and more unemployment stuff is a good thing, including extending health care. That's helpful as a band-aid, but doesn't help provide jobs to those who lost them.
Hmmm... As far as I can tell, this means I am getting a $400 tax credit, or roughly $1.09 a day for every day this year. Think it will help?
