Of flowerbearing seasons...I am Springtime
This week has been nice so far. Such beautiful weather. It seems spring is almost here!
Yesterday I did the exercise with my group where they have to build the highest tower made of paper, in 2 teams. I feared doing it with them very much, but every time they love it a lot! It seems every old person, still has some child locked inside of them. (by the way, I love the song "the man with the child in his eyes" by Kate Bush)
Today I had to do exercises on a computer with them. It was a real adventure as some of them had never ever touched a (computer)mouse in their entire life. :-)
Last night i dreamed I was in some iskcon temple (could have been Radhadesh, but it wasn't) and there was a festival. It was all very nice and pleasant. Than some devotee said to me, while pointing at a guy; "that bhakta is also going to the festival of your Gurudeva this summer and is aspiring to become his disciple". Than he asked another devotee "that's the one who is going to Srila Narayana Maharaja, right?" The other devotee answered "Not anymore, I had a good talk with him and he is not going anymore". I told him how I was also a disciple of Srila Narayana Maharaja and how he is a real bona fide Vaishnava, which is very rare. We had a whole discussion and when I asked him how many times he had seen Srila Gurudeva, he had to answer "never" and that his conclusions were based on gossip and internet facts. It really made me angry. Luckily it only was a dream. :-) (I think part of the dream was evoked by watching this documentary on Bhagavan Maharaja and how so many disciples were fooled by thinking he was a pure devotee)
Yesterday I was asked by some friends to join them on a holiday in the summer. It sounds very nice. It is one week in Turkey, cruising on a private sailboat with 10 friends. I would love to do it, but I guess I have to save all the money I can for my apartment. It sucks. I haven't been on a real summer-holiday since I was 14 years old or so.
Another interesting detail...amongst the 10 people who are going is a celebrity from Belgium. :-) That always attracts my interest of course! :-)
My friends wanna introduce me to someone they met some time ago. They think we would fit good together, but I'm not too sure about it. The things I heard so far didn't really set me on fire, but I guess I shouldn't judge till I've met the guy. To be continued!
