Radhadesh september 2007

Last week was of course a very heavy one, with everything happening with Philip. I was so happy I could spend the past weekend with very dear friends, to forget about my worries and embrace deep friendships.

The weekend in Radhadesh was just amazing...again. We shared so many loving moments and it goes beyond words.

I will try to share some highlights:

* The absolute highlight was singing bhajans for Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha when They were going to bed. We did this on friday and saturday and every time it was very emotional. Local devotees would join us and tell us how much they liked it. Vrindavanesvari, who sang, got so many compliments and Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha even brought her a garland. I can't even describe it. But the mood of the bhajan, the way Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha looked, it was very deep and emotional.

* The 9 of us were asked to take over the kitchen to cut vegetables for Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha. We were laughing, dancing, singing...while doing this service. It was so nice and spiritual.

* Ice-cream...though I am not the biggest fan, all the rest seemed to enjoy tons of ice-cream. :-)

* The morning programs. I didn't make it for mangal arti, but Guru-puja was always very nice and sweet.

* Our trip to Durbuy. With all the photoshoots.

* Manohar Prabhu, the magician. His tricks were just amazing and still makes my mind go crazy.

* On sunday I might have mentioned I didn't like the outfit of Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha. So when we wanted to take a last darshan before leaving we rushed to the temple to say goodbye. But the pujari had just closed the curtains, some minutes early. I guess Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha were offended by my remark.
But as soon as They heard our pain in separation, They allowed the pujari to open the curtains few more minutes just for us. It was a very sweet exchange of love.
