New VAST MySpace contest:
To promote their next record and tour VAST are starting a new MySpace contest.
The contest will run from now until one week before the first date of their next tour, sometime in early 2007.
There are several ways to win and several prizes. Here is how it works:
The overall winner will be whoever brings the most people to the official VAST MySpace page. You must have the person you bring to the page post a comment with your MySpace URL. They must also send a friend request to the band. http://www.myspace.com/vast
1. First place prize: VAST will set up a private show and party in your home town. You will choose the set list and VAST will play the songs you want to hear! It will be recorded and you will receive a copy of the recording. You will be able to bring all of your friends to your free private show (depending on the size and capacity of the location). The show will be at the end of the US tour.
2. Top ten winners: The next ten participants who introduce the most people will win two VIP passes to the next VAST tour. They will also receive an autographed copy of the new record and a free t-shirt. The VIP pass includes attendance of a sound check, a dinner with the band and a chance to hang out with the band after the show, as long as the band can stay factoring in travel time to the next show.
3. Every one who brings 30 people to the VAST MySpace page will receive a free pass for entry to a VAST show of their choosing.
4. You can also win by getting your friends to join the VAST message board and mailing list (we know there are still one or two people that don't use MySpace). You must have the person post your name in a special area of the board.

Album and tour update:
VAST are now putting the finishing touches on a new record and currently have it's release planned for mid February 2007, together with a tour to include the US and Europe. If anything changes within the planned time scale we will let you know ASAP!

The venue may or may not serve alcohol. If there is nowhere within 100 miles to play and/or that will admit an 18 year old, the winner must forfeit the prize or agree to a new location. There is a limit of 100 people that the winner can bring to their show. If the new album has not been produced by the time the contest ends, the respective winners will receive their copy when the album is manufactured. "Party" is defined as a social gathering in a room. Food, entertainment and beverages will not be provided by the band or any of its associates. VAST retains the right to bring and or sell tickets to the event. By entering this contest you freely give VAST the right to use your name and likeness for any promotional purposes. VAST retains the right to videotape the event and to use the footage how they see fit. One audio recording of the show will be provided for the winner, but VAST does not surrender any entitlement to copyright ownership etc. VAST and 2Blossoms Records & Media and their affiliates and agents are not liable or responsible for any unforeseen problems that shut down the contest or any technical problems that cause the contest to end prematurely. For example: MySpace account deletion, unread or unsent mail, server side data loss, unauthorized account access (hacking/cracking) etc. All totals will be counted as the contest runs but the winner may not be announced until some time after the contest has ended.
