VAST breaks up
Just kidding. The first Spring news we have for you is there are two new band members; Ben Fenton on guitar and Dustin Williams on drums.
We finally have the retail release date for Turquoise & Crimson: May 16th. After dealing with legal issues for over two years we have finally decided to go with the original version for the retail release. The show/launch party has been rescheduled for May 12th at the Elysium in Austin, tickets from http://www.2blossoms.com/vl0512.html . We have less than one thousand original Turquoise & Crimson CDs left, although the only difference between the in-store version and the online version is the foreword. Collectors take note, once these are gone we are never printing them again.
We are putting together a new download which we are aiming to have ready in early April. It will most likely include acoustic previews, new songs and commentary about the making of the new album. This will be the first new music Vast has released in almost three years.
Vast will be playing a show in Fort Worth, TX on July 1st. More information here: http://www.myspace.com/necrocon
