Hello everyone and thank you for your interest in VAST. We have decided against raising the price of the fan club. It is still only $35.95 for the time being. We have received emails from you stating that the short student film Jon Crosby made over the summer was not available for long enough so we have made it a permanent fixture of the Vast Fan Club. The Vast Fan Club now includes: 1. Download version of the album “A Complete Demonstration”. 2. A free VAST T-shirt (one size/large) 3. A sixty-minute audio commentary of the self-titled debut album “V.A.S.T.” by Jon Crosby and Michael Austinmoore (192kbps). 4. Exclusive on going downloads only available to people who join. 5. A chance to buy and/or receive V.I.P. passes to VAST shows. 6. The short student film “Circus Maximus” directed by Jon Crosby.
The show at Elysium has been moved to January 27th to coincide with the wide release of “Turquoise & Crimson” in stores January 17th. We are launching an aggressive charity download campaign and we are going back to our original vision of offering downloadable records for less than $5 online. We have decided that a part of the profits will be going to a few charities but we would like your input on which charities you as VAST fans believe in. The top two decided on will receive a cut of $1 from every download. The third charity will be decided by VAST.
We plan on releasing a limited edition version of “A Complete Demonstration” on CD before the New Year. Those in the Vast Fan club who wish to own it will receive a discount.
We are sending out all the t-shirts and CD’s again today to people who have not received them from earlier this year. If you do not receive them by early next week (for inland USA deliveries, within 3 weeks for overseas) please write to whereismystuff@2blossoms.com. We would like to issue refunds to people who have had to wait so long. Please direct all mail to the address stated above.
Jon is working at a fever pitch to get the book out before the New Year. Everyone with questions about the book should write to joncrosby@realvast.com. He may include your email in the book so be nice.
