I got my Internet back a few weeks ago, but I still never updated because...I didn't feel like it.
In brief:
Rants
* We have too many bills. We shouldn't even bother to pay the Comcast bill, since they didn't even bother to give us service for half the month.
* I hate this apartment. We aren't completely infested with bugs, but there are enough to scare me. I can't walk into a room without scanning the floors and the walls. I always think I feel things crawling on me. And I'm always seeing things.
* We still haven't had anyone come to look at our shower. Never mind if the water line is just hooked up with everyone else in the neighborhood. If you tell us you'll send someone to look at it, then send someone to look at it.
* I burned my thumb on my lunch today. Now there's a bubbly white blister on the tip that's too thick to pop. Gross.
* My rats figured out how to escape their cage. They did this by breaking the cage. Our remedy was to turn them around to face the wall, only now we can't reach the door to feed them. Now they're going to starve, and that's exactly what they get. Just kidding!
Raves
* I have one semester left. We're coming back to Bel Air in July! Then I'll have to get a real job and be responsible. Although I'm not allowed to get a real job until I take my exams, which I'm not allowed to do until October or so. I guess that gives me two or three months to 'study' (aka. fart around - although Colin would choose to rephrase, because he claims that I do not actually fart).
* Colin and I are going to buy bikes and be awesome together. We're already really awesome, though, so watch out.
* This past Friday, I earned a ton of free stuff from The Body Shop. Thanks to those of you who came, even if you didn't actually do anything to directly encourage the earning of the free stuff.
* Saturday, we went to the Festival of India in the Inner Harbor. I had two heaping plates of free food and got to read about vegetarianism and watch people dance and be passionate about Krishna.
* If things go as planned (which they never do), this weekend is going to be great.
