Well, I'm still blogging from work. Dear Reader is back from her visit home. It apparently wasn't fun for her, but I'll let her blog about that if she wants to.
On my end, I'm probably going to end up buying a laptop at some point this summer. I haven't yet because I'm busy. Also cheap. Also kinda poor. I found out yesterday that my employer officially does not participate in any kind of health or dental insurance program. That, of course, will take precedent over buying a new laptop. Kung fu and tai chi are going well. Karate is still very slow. I found out the other day that I'm going to need to open a whole new business account for the dojo. Shihan says that there's so much debt in the other account that he doesn't want to mingle the two. This is extremely depressing to me. Shihan's plan is to somehow make a dent in the old account's debt over the next five years. I think what I'm going to do is take the opportunity to rename my school. I never really liked the old name, and changing the label feels appropriate. The training is different. The management is different. The martial arts are the same, but the expectations are higher for students.
Does anyone have any good ideas for names? Good banks for small businesses that don't care much about turning profits?
