Misha Collins' and Mark Sheppard's panel on Saturday afternoon. (One hour long. It was supposed to be in the morning, but Misha asked for his panel order to be switched - unfortunately, Misha's panel on Saturday morning was only half an hour long.)
I joined the queue to ask a question. And did I ask a question for myself? Nope! I asked a question for unstopabblei, my first Cas!fan mutual LJ friend. She wanted to know the story behind
Misha's photo, and I asked. Misha said many words while at the same time evading answering, like usually, so the story behind the pic will remind a mystery. HOWEVER, he revealed a few things, after my insistent probbing (do you see what lenghts did I go to for the sake of your happiness, girl???).
1) He had a good time with friends, when the pic was taken.
2) It's not from the Burning Man festival.
3) He owns a red dress.
The transcript of the scene, as far as I can recall (if anyone has access to the relative videos, please post a link back here).
Vasiliki: My question is for Misha.
(Misha comes up to me and brings me to the stage.)
Vasiliki: The question is from my Americal pal.
Misha: Your American what?
Vasiliki: Pal. My American friend. Do you remember the last pic you posted on Twitter?
Misha: Yes, I remember.
Vasiliki: It was the pic to Jared. Where you wore a nice combo of blouse and skirt.
Misha: That wasn't the last pic I posted on Twitter. I posted a pic this morning.
V: Sorry, I didn't check Twitter this morning.
(A fan has a high quality print of
the pic in question, and hands it to Misha, who shows it to the audience. Dialogue that I can't recall ensues, but it involves Mark Sheppard calling Misha "Castiela".)
Vasiliki: Where is the pic from?
Misha: From my computer.
Vasiliki: Don't evade the question... where did you get the photo?
(M evades again)
V: Is it from the Burning Man? Is it from the Burning Man festival?
Misha: No, it's not from Burning Man. Although I'm known to wear women's clothing there! (his photo in the pink apron comes to mind) He then added: "I have a red dress!" (at which point I barely restrained myself from LOLing on the stage!)
V: So, where did you take the pic?
Misha: Why are you interested in this?
Vasiliki: *I* don't care about the pic. My friend wants to know.
Misha: Oh, your "friend" (airquotes)... (sorry, can't recall the rest of the sentence, he was too funny)
V: I like your blouse.
M: Thank you. Do you have something like that?
V: (pointing at my fuchsia shirt) No. This is the most extreme I have.
(the audience laughed - even a woman doesn't have such a flaming blouse as Misha - and that's where we ended it)
I admit that if I had actually seen
his latest Twitter pic, I'd have dropped the issue and would ask about that one, instead - but you have to admit, girl, I went beyond and above the call of a Minion's duty. ;)
Some highlights from the rest of the panel:
- Mark S. will appear in next season of Leverage.
- A fan (I think she wore a shirt with the name for Sebastian's followers on Twitter, "naughty acolytes", written on it) was going to leave the panel and Misha got all authoritative, and asked her to seat down. He was great fun during that speech!
- Misha impersonated perfectly Sebastian Roche texting the fan who had tried to leave the panel, and telling her he's waiting for her in the bathroom. Mark admired him, and said those were the best impersonations of Sebastian.
- A fan asked what was the spiciest thing Castiel did. Misha said, not watching porn, that was gross. Kissing Crowley. It was passionate, and they'll get married. Mark said, and then they'll get divorced, after having children. Misha added, he'll be of course the one carrying the baby.
- A fan asked about "Charmed" and Misha said the story about Alyssa Milano who slipped him the tongue (there was a kiss in the script, but they cut it in the episode), but when he met her again years later, she didn't remember the kiss, nor Misha!
- Misha talked about playing the character of Misha Collins in "The French Mistake", trying to make him as much as a douchebag as possible (he talked abt that in the private meet, too - he had asked the writers to make him as much of a douchebag as possible, but they didn't, so he had to add things on his own, like ignoring people and pushing away the make-up lady). He said "I enjoyed wearing the sweater. I have a collection of flamboyant sweaters." A fan asked if they're flamboyant because he wears them, and he replied they're flamboyant, but even more flamboyant when he wears them.
- Mark and Misha are talking about Twitter:
Mark: I’m following 50, no, 60 people.
Misha: They’re a lot! Who are you following?
Mark: Some writers, Neil Gaiman. (sorry, can’t recall the other two he mentioned) Actors are boring. How many are you following?
M: Zero.
Mark: Why are you not following anyone?
M: I’m a leader, not a follower.
- A fan asked if Misha thinks Dean was being sincere when he was talking to Castiel at the end of the finale or if he was trying to distract him so that Sam would stab him. Misha replied that he think Dean was honest, but at the same time, there was a moment he could have said "Watch out, someone's gonna stab you", and he didn't.
(Will update when I recall more, I'm too sleepy now...
Or should I just concentrate on recalling what Misha said during the private Meet, with only 8 of us there? If you're one of those who didn't like the finale and is hoping the guys will get the souls out of Castiel in S7 premier, so that he can revert back to himself, be ready for a downer.)
PS. Misha didn't have the time to read the leather-bound "Letters to Cas" book, because he hasn't been home, but in Brazil, then Nashcon, now Spain.

June 12: I updated it - more things came back to me when I woke up! :) Still sleepy, though! *yawns*
On to Part 2: Sunday, and my question from Satuday's "Meet: Misha Collins" Sunday's "Meet: Misha Collins"---
June 13:
This video is from when I was on stage and a fan handed Misha a high-quality print of the photo:
Misha is a Master of the art of evading answering questions, but I'm persistent for unstoppablei's sake!ETA:
A longer video because the previous one cut off the beginning. My question starts at 3:20.
