Yesterday I had to venture down into the middle of pittsburgh for jury duty. Luckily I wasn't picked for the case but I did have to sit through the most boring thing I have ever experienced in my life. I never thought I would be so bored in the city because there's so much going on there. I REALLY should have brought something to read!

I did meet some interesting people there though... I met an older woman who was a lawyer for the juvenile and family division of the courts in pittsburgh (the building right across from the one I was in all day) It was neat talking to her about cases she worked on previously in her career. Another guy I met was the owner of a real estate firm who travelled all over the country. I hung out with him most of the day because he was a clown and kept the mood light for everyone there. Hell, he even gave me a dollar when I needed a drink.

It's busy in the city though, I mean REALLY fast paced. The southside and station square I can handle, but deep city life isn't for me. I enjoy the quiet of living next to the woods. :)

It was a really tiring day, I got home earlier than I would have from work though and got to spend time with my wonderful girlfriend so there was some good to be had. I could trudge through the most tiring and angering day ever and still feel great being with her. <3
