Brad called to say he couldn't make it to the workout, so I was ready to just go it alone doing bag work and stuff. But, another guy from the gym came in and we sparred a bit. I warmed up with some rope and a few rounds on the thai bag. We went 4 rounds of 3 minutes kick boxing. We worked light for most of it to work on technique and weaknesses in our styles.
I went over to Tina's Saturday class afterward. We did stations of 3 minutes each and some bag and mitt work in between.
Stations:
- paralette dips and push ups with feet on a chair
- 4 point lifts and reverse V-ups
- mountain climbers/reverse flies
- one-legged squats and sit/kicks on a chair
- inch worms up and down the floor
Mitt work was punching combos with slips added in. We also did a bit of punching from the ground.
After class, I did a few ab exercises and worked on my sword form a bit.
