STATUS REPORT, NUMBER 1!! (V.4)
Jumping on this sorta bandwagon we go going about expo costumes. Thanks again for offering the help, Emily, but I noticed you got a pretty full plate for this next week. Me and my mom have been working pretty hard (recently at least) to get both my costumes done, so here's the list of what's left.
Costume #1: Ichimaru Gin from Bleach (see also my LJ userpic)
Buy wig (even though I said I was never gonna wear one again, I lied.... not cutting my hair. lol)
Sew shirt together (just need to add the white trim)
Sew pants together (need to be hemmed, shortened, and elastic put in the waistband)
Sew together white over-coat part (just needs symbol on back and around bottom)
Find Sandals (Cheep-ass sandals from Wal-Mart FTW!!)
Get Miller's Dad to make a prop sword (Just needs a paint job)
Costume #2: Chainsaw Villager from Resident Evil 4
Sew together burlap bag (only needs eye holes and eye holes in the mask going under it)
Buy a shirt
Use pants I already own
Buy Suspenders (still have at least one more Goodwill trip if anyone else needs to go still)
Buy toy chainsaw (it's cheesy and won't shut up when you hit the button, but hey it was cheep! ^_^)
So all in all I'd say I'm about 90% or so done on these costumes. I'll post pictures once they're ready. Have another day over at my parent's place tomorrow after work, should have it all done then! One more costume work day on Saturday... then we're done. (Monday, lol) Can't wait!! ^_^
P.S. I wonder if anyone even noticed that I've edited this a third time now. Anyway... painting the sword over and Dan and Emily's tuesday, and then I'm officially done and ready (costume-wise) for expo.
