[sees_reaper]

[ Suddenly, a boy in a bright yellow scarf appears. The moon is full, and he has a... is that a huge scythe on his back? He's wearing some kind of black school uniform and a red band on his arm. The boy blinks, locks eyes with Kyonko, and then does a double-take. ]

E-eh...? You're not supposed to be awake right now!

[ Brb flailing--what does he do what does he--oh. Man, this girl is cute--wait, now's not the time D: ]

Fuuka? Fuuuuuka? We have a problem! ... Fuuka? Hey!

[ A pause, and... derp. Wait, why is he out of contact with her?! Bad bad bad... ]

[kyonko_narrates]

'Awake? Well, duh! I just went to bed, moron! Of course I'm not supposed to be awake right now!'

I kind of get that. What the heck's going on? Where are we, anyway?

[sees_reaper]

Port Island, of course! You're probably a little disoriented, don't worry, that's normal for first-timers. Junpei-kun nearly wet himself the first time, so you're doing a lot better!

[ Ryoji turns, waiting. He pauses, then grins a bit. ] Oh, they're coming. Maybe... another minute? ... Man, you're lucky I'M here~! I don't know what might have happened if the Shadows had got to you before we did... they prey on people like us, you know?

[kyonko_narrates]

[She just stares at him rather blankly.] Where the heck is Port Island? Near Osaka? Why is there blood everywhere?!

'If he comments on how I don't have a hick accent I'm going to give him one right upside the head.'

Whose coming? That Fuuka person you were calling for?

[sees_reaper]

... Tatsumi Port Island, Iwatodai? Man, you must be a tourist, too... of all the people with the potential, it had to be a tourist...?

[ Ryoji pauses, seeming oddly calm about the entire thing. He can sort of sense the Shadows approaching, and sure enough, a huge, nasty group of them blob their way through the blood and over the coffins, two coming from rooftops. ]

Oh, it's a big group of them, too! ... Hey, Fuuka...? I've got a girl here alone--Fuuuuuka-chan? Come on, this isn't funny--you know I need your analysis!

[ After awhile, he sighs. ... Well. He'll just have to improvise, huh? ]

Looks like we're on our own--I'm out of reach. If you want to live, stay behind me!

[kyonko_narrates]

I'm not? Last thing I remember I was in my own bed in Nishinomiya--near Osaka--and--what are those things?!

[They're blobby and dark, and making their way towards them. Kyonko is no stranger to weird dangerous things coming after her. She knows well enough to listen to the guy who knows what he's talking about and ducks behind him.]

If you have enough time before they get here, care to clue me in?

'I'll worry about this potential thing later!'

[sees_reaper]

[ There's a long pause. Ryoji laughs, trying to clear his fears away--he still had trouble holding his Evoker properly, but he slowly raises the gun-looking object towards the side of his head.

... And the Shadows are getting closer. This is quite a worrisome situation, isn't it? About to pull the trigger, he suddenly laughs. ]

... Weird. Might just be memory loss from the Dark Hour, then... heh. Well, would you believe me if I said those coffins were people, and you're supposed to be in one of them, and this is an hour that shouldn't exist?

[ It takes both hands, one to hold the butt of the Evoker, the other to pull the trigger normally, to steady his shaking. ] Just a little longer...

[kyonko_narrates]

'Oh my God, why is he pointing a gun at his head?! Are things really that bad he's actually considering--'

H-hey! W-what's with the gun?! [That overrides any other questions or concerns she might have at the moment.]

[sees_reaper]

[ Oh, right. He kind of panicked like that at Yukari, didn't he? But, too bad for Kyonko that Ryoji doesn't have any tact:

Bang.

Blue crystals shoot from the other side of his head (instead of, say, blood), and Thanatos forms in front of him, with a mighty roar. ]

Thanatos!

[ His smile is a little less calm now, maybe a little excited. Raising it's sword, the Persona casts a Mudoon spell, the purple emblem appearing under the Shadows, and it proceeds to wipe two of them out from existence. The others keep coming. ]

... Aw, we missed a few! Looks like this might be a close one!

[kyonko_narrates]

'What. The. Hell?!'

Just--do what you need to do! [Yeah, she's sticking behind him right now regardless of what happens. It's better than panicking and flailing everywhere, though she's itching to get something in her hands to fight in case they're separated.]

[sees_reaper]

Haha, sorry~! Maybe I should've used something with a bit more punch...? Oh--I got it! Persona!

[ Bang. Yes, he is quite pleased with his troop of death. This particular Persona resembles Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Except. You know. Dead-looking. Lovely, isn't it? Pointing it's finger, and--Megido!

And the Shadows were no more with a fantastic explosion. The Persona fades, and Ryoji puts his Evoker away, bends down to tie his shoe, and... his scythe nearly takes his head off. Except, oblivious of this, he reaches up at the right moment, avoids catastrophe, and takes the hulking weapon out of it's kind of worn sheath. ]

Gotta get you somewhere safer... we're too close to Tartarus right now. Then again, I don't think we expected any company, haha~ ... Though, I don't mind company when it's a cute girl like you.

[kyonko_narrates]

Just get to the point and tell me what's going on. This doesn't look like Nishinomiya! Who are you?

'And why are you calling me cute at a time like this?!'

[sees_reaper]

[ Oh, she looks mad. ... Derp. Ryoji frowns, but he's a little more concerned with the fact she seems to be drawing Shadows to them. ... Or was it him...? Who knew. ]

Well, that's because it isn't! Like I said, this is Port Island. You know, Iwatodai? Um, this is the Dark Hour.

... But more importantly, we should get you away from Tartarus...

[ Pointing to the giant tower of doom nearby them that almost overshadows the glowing, creepy moon itself. ]

It'll be safer if you're farther from the Shadows. Otherwise, they'll keep homing in on you until they get to your soul, and then you'll become like the others...
