EXO Showtime episode 4

Dec 22, 2013 10:16

- I'm going to avoid teasers for forthcoming episodes if they insist on deceiving the viewers. I expected an angst episode with massive heart to hearts but hardly the case.

- EXO watching a sad film omg. Man tears are not a crime. If you're going to cry just let it out guys. I wanted to hug the ones who did cry. Luhan, Tao and Kris namely but even the coolest, composed bunch had to let go.

- The film EXO watched -Miracles in Cell no 7- was showing at this year's London Korean Film Festival but I didn't want to watch it anyway from viewing the trailer. I knew it was going to be depressing.

- The arm wrestling tournament. Kris what the heck mate? He was slaughtered. It's ok bb I am terrible with arm wrestling as well. Tao had the advantage because he was left handed but he still lost to the eventual winner Xiumin. Wow Baozi I do not want to mess with you but maybe if I need help with opening cans I'll go to him.

- The discussion on who cried the most. Everyone poking fun at Kris crying over his Mum. Oh man as if the arm-wrestling defeats weren't humiliating enough XD

- Tao explaining the reason he cried during the MMAs 2013 was because he thought of the hard work from the trainee days and I was hoping there would be angst sections. But Baekhyun kept making jokes which killed the mood XD

- Hearing that D.O. cries while watching Tennis no Oujisama and how he gave Chanyeol a warning gesture in this episode. Ooooh. Don't piss off Kyungsoo.

- Lay dozing off during the film lmao. Missing out on the fun, Yixing.

- Everyone giving one another presents. Mostly nice snacks and at cheap prices. D.O.'s one was interesting. Suho I need a book like that too.

- I was headbanging to the metal music during the arm-wrestling and wow producers you used Supermassive Black Hole by Muse. Nice.

This episode wasn't as ZOMG as episode 3 because the Chanyeol present challenge was fun. I wanted deep, EXO brotherhood moments that tapped into their emotions. Something we don't often see on variety shows or interviews. One thing I did like from this aside from the lolz-some arm wrestling and Christmas gifts exchange was that they weren't afraid to cry. I salute you Dong Saeng.
